There were very few Producers and Directors who stood by #RDBurman during his bad patch. #Satyendra #Pal was one of them. He stood firm with #Pancham while producing his movie #Zulmi.
#Gulshan #Bawara, who was very close to Pancham, was writing songs of Zulmi. One morning; brother of the lead actor of Zulmi, who was also a producer of his home production, approched Satyendra Pal and told him that if he replaces RD Burman then he is ready to reduce price of his brother. Satyendra Pal said to him that you are asking me to replace one of the finest human being and great #composer of all the time. Instead of replacing him, Satyendra Pal replaced that actor and signed #AkshayKumar instead. By the way this is the same actor for whom Pancham gave his last musical hit which is remembered even today.
