Even after watching Halloween Kills, I feel like this short still seamlessly fits in with the timeline within Halloween 2018

For having no budget, this is extremely well done. It's obvious that it's a labor of love by people who truly adore this franchise and I certainly appreciate it for that. Most of my complaints are solved with a simple "we didn't have the budget for it" so I'll stick with the only thing I truly didn't care for and think should have been edited better, and that's the strange dubbing of the cop's voice near the end. It was obvious that voice was done in post and was pretty jarring. But as for the rest, I really loved it. The score from Halloween 2018 is spectacular as it is, and was used effectively here. The kills are brutal and scary, and I love this badass Michael Myers that really feels like he could have walked straight out of the 2018 sequel. Was completely floored at the AUDACITY to have Michael cut a child IN HALF at the beginning of this. Very ballsy - but appreciated - move. I also love the farmland setting that calls back to Halloweens 4 & 5, and I love that it actually feels like a brisk autumn night in this. You guys really did a great job with this!

Michael realized the film was around 13 minutes long, that's why he wasted no time in the cemetery. He would've stalked around a bit if it was feature length.

This was honestly the best Halloween fan film I’ve ever seen. You matched the feel of Green’s movie and his take on Myers perfectly. The shot with the teen stabbed through the neck in the foreground while Michael attacks out of focus behind him was masterful.

I don't even know where to begin. The visual story-telling with this film was top tier. The wait was more than worth it. EVERYONE did such a great job with the acting, editing, and there were so many attention-grabbing details. Bro...this was soooo good and proud is an understatement. Shoutout EEZY Gang & Toxic Gang. Nowhere but up from here to everyone involved in this film. Wow.

Crazy how that kid had a similar costume to what Michael wore when he was a kid in the beginning of Halloween. It's like he's killing the part of him that was michael and is accepting that he is now the shape

This is really well made. Like wow. I was pretty impressed with some of the effects, like when Michael stabbed that dude in the neck. That was crazy. There were a couple of things that were a little off for me, but they were minor and I expect it to be honest. But overall, amazing little short film. This was a nice little replacement for Halloween Kills that should have been here.

I've gotten into a pattern of rewatching this every 6 months or so and every single time I find myself liking it more and appreciating something different. This time I was really impressed by the kid! He really brings the emotion and a solid performance that makes this so good. I hope he has gotten proper credit and recognition for his part.

My only real complaint is that this was just too short. Felt engaging like a full length film. Outstanding job. Definitely something to tide us over until next year.

This is incredible! Love the over the top gore, especially the knife breaking. Don't think I have ever seen that in a slasher before. If this was inserted in the middle of Halloween (2018) it would fit really nicely

Jimmy this was absolutely AMAZING !!! You can clearly see and feel that this entire film crew has a true passion for Halloween. The actor who plays "The Shape" needs to audition for future Michael Myers roles, he is spot on to what Nick Castle achieved in '78. The writers of this script made it a point of emphasis of how truly brutal Michael is, H2018 left that opportunity on the editing room floor. Michael is the embodiment of Pure Evil, he doesnt have preferences and should be portrayed as a KILLER !!! Kids, Elderly, any and everybody, human or not are all potential victims of his. Thank you guys for bringing the visceral, brutal and pure evil nature of his onto film. Again Jimmy thank you from a true fan to many more who created this film. Please give my crazy insane bat shit PROPS to the entire crew. If ever a sequel to this is made, please let me know, i will come out on my own dime, take vacation time, whatever it takes to be part of something this stellar amazing short film. #SHAPE-ON PS....I've shown this to about 25+ People and they all agree that this is truly Phenomenal. I have a Question Though, when Michael drops the Kids Corpse on the Road, was that a breathing sound or ambient creature sound ? Me and My Step Brother have been wondering ? This has to be one of, if not the greatest Halloween fan film I've ever seen. The cinematic feel. The constant coldness and brutality of The Shape in this makes me uncomfortable in the best of ways. When I think of Halloween (1978). I think is Teens minding their business, unknowingly being stalked by an escaped mental patient know as Michael Myers. And when that Mental Patient sets his target on someone, they will die. This just proves that even further. This had no real flaws other than. Where is the sequel? Now as for sound design. Fucking flawless. Using the 2018 score but remixing some of the audio is perfect in this case. Now for costumes and props. You guys outdid yourselves. Truly. The mask. The coveralls, knife..Haddonfield signs and all that. Overall this is what I expect Halloween Kills to be at the bare minimum. (Which isnt a bad thing, just saying I hope we get more of what we got here in Kills). I really want to see the Shapes brutality and pure raw evil shown more often. And this showed us what would really happen if that night in 78, didnt end as soon as it did and the way it ended. Had Michael killed Laurie I believe he would've moved house to house. Until everyone in that small town was dead. And that's the vibes this film gave me. Great Job Jimmy. And will you be making a sequel?....because if so. I will be there!

Oh man that was SO good!!! Well shot and edited, top notch effects and the soundtrack use was fantastic. When Michael shows up at the top of the stairs, that angle was perfect. Good emotion with brothers at the end there too. Definitely one of the best fan films I've ever seen. And definitely helped fill the void of no Halloween Kills this year.
