HOLIDAY ART CHALLENGE!
I unironically love Bob Ross. One of the most watchable and entertaining artists to ever spin his craft in front of an audience-and a genuinely kind soul.
Just in time for the holidays, let's spend 15 happy little minutes watching a Bob Ross inspired painting take shape (and you can enjoy the full benefit of my unofficial/fictional PhD in Bob Ross studies.)
Submit your painting in the Artist Challenge channel of the DPS Community Discord Channel → / discord . Brushes used in this painting are available there for free! It's what Bob would want :)
DETAILS:
→ This can be as loosely, or directly, based on Bob's style and technique as you want.
→ Deadline for submission is: January 7th
→ Winners will be chosen through community voting (fun prizes!)
As I wind down for 2022-I want thank everyone for helping this community grow so much this year. I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season and I am looking forward to making some happy little badass art with you in 2023!

ah Bob Ross! I I always see the video on YT, it's amazing how he knows how to use tools to get a precise result. Even if in life I believe that an artist has the "task" of exploring a bit of everything, he only made mountain landscapes. no other styles, no portraits and other studies. But he was great in his technique. Gorgeous work and very interesting material as always. PS: in fact watching the video, noting your use of brushes and mastery, I also believe you have something of a modern Bob Ross too :)

Growing up I also watch Bob Ross and at time when I was at my Grandmas I would watch him with her, as I got older as well as my grandma she also started to paint and I want to think she was inspired by Bob. You do amazing work Hardy, I am trying to find the time to put in the work for art but all my time is trying to build a business at the moment. But one day I will be able to just breathe and have a cup of coffee and paint along with you. Thanks Mate

from time to time I watch his show on Samsung TV and his youtube channel where all his shows are. He wanted them to be available to all, so they live on. I've wondered what the great master of yore would think of watching Bob paint. "you can't do art with that big brush . ." then see the results have you tried Fresco? it has oil painting. I dabbled with it.

I personally have not tried Fresco - very unforgiving and requires a lot of skill from what I understand - respect!

@@f_k_4644 Thanks! That's high praise indeed. I'm not sure if the brushes will work - I am unfamiliar with that particular app. If it supports photoshop abr files, then it should work!
