Sweden is a hilarious country: a "beacon of human rights" that conveniently forgets it used to be a colonial superpower (for a while) and the promised land of eugenics. They're perplexed why Finns hate them, yet they casually condescend to them all the time (just like Finns do to Estonians. some kind of annoying big brother syndrome)

Hey hey, Finland has somewhat lot of rare minerals (mostly in the north). Of course there is some problems if actually we wanted to mine them, like for example many mineral rich areas are habited by Sami people so it would violate they're rights to live there.

Sweden and Norway is always like those siblings who hate each other but will murder anyone that thinks they’re not perfect together. And Denmark is the youngest sibling who gets affectionately bullied by everyone in the family and is just trying to keep the peace because they know if they’re not the punchingbag someone may instigate the first “Nordic World War” in history😂

Nah, Denmark is the oldest sibling, who stil has a grudge about the younger siblings winning a fight far in the past, and who up untill Sweden joined NATO, has been passively trying to start another fight.

@@kristinagraversgaard5328 Technically Norway would be the oldest sibling as Fairhair came before Bluetooth. Then Sweden is much younger due to the late unification.

To be honest, Norway mostly taunts Swedes with winter sports 😂Not money. But the Swedes don't generally care as much as we do. *UNLESS* when they have a proper athlete every 37 years, of course.

Well Norway has the right to brag. Sweden didn't join the project AND unlike norway Sweden also didn't create a fund based on the earnings of their mines like norway did with their oil. . . Double whamy. . .

It's basically made of volcanoes.. Made by a bunch of smaller volcanoes, which are highly active and causes trouble. Just a few weeks ago volcanoe and earthquake under one of the few cities. Few years back another volcano shut down Europe's air traffic.
@theninja4137
@theninja4137 8 ай бұрын
@Nidvard the volcanoes are not very active, on average one eruption every four years. The last three years were more active than usual, with an eruption every year - but all in the same area that's not near any settlements. There has - so far - not been an eruption in Grindavík, the town has been evacuated as a precaution. There has, however, been quite some damage due to earthquakes and land lifting/sinking due to underground lava movements. For the town, it's the worst case scenario, because why bother rebuilding if it is still not clear if and when the lava pressure releases. If an eruption happened, they could rebuild and get on with their lives - now that town has to wait and worry when it'll happen - this year still? Next one? Fivd years?
