We are on the same page, why I decided to change my planner lineup for June when I have Planners starting in July I for sure want to use, like the same teacher layout, I have no idea but here we all are, like literally? 😂 The only thing I am keeping is my Big vertical and that is only because I love the space it has for decorating and I use it for what I call small jots of thoughts? So it is sticker heavy and then I take colorful pens and jot moods, jot quotes, jot who made me mad, jot what made me laugh that day, jot migraines, jot quotes I like, etc. These jots are not in a pattern, they change daily, they are small, they do not take much time, I guess you could look at it as journaling since I refuse to sit down and write a lengthy exploration of why I am feeling a certain way, why I should work on feeling mad, basically the why if it all. I learned a long time ago that to write about these things is to linger on them, which actually gives them more power and more control over my life because it brings up things that I have examined 1 million times during therapy, I have worked on these things and continue to do so, I am not a perfect person and that is more than okay. This is just what works for my brain and it took a whole lot of time and thought and therapy to discover this about myself. So I jot as a nod to I realize it is happening, use the tools in my mental health tool box to adjust it if necessary, and move on. As for my frankenplanner I am actually thinking about skipping it for June, I know gasp 😱 and start to work on the one for July and really make some solid decisions about what to use. I haven’t totally decided about this but I am leaning heavy in that direction. However I am adding in the Daily Grind for June so I kinda want to give it the time it deserves and kinda get used to it since this is my first time using it. Oh and I am keeping the Bujo in my lineup, I love decorating it, I love the freedom of it, how unstructured it is, it makes me happy. And I am keeping my Reading Journal, KnitPlanJess style, cause that is a must and will never be left off of any lineup! Thanks Jess! 💕
