We all know that boa is the most talented female in kpop but she said that she is not confident because people are looking for cute or beautiful people rather than actual talent of being an idol. My first produce show is pd48 so I can feel the pain with my whole heart. This will my first and last produce show. I am so sorry for jonghyun and others too. They are so talented but people didn’t choose them.

The thing though is that that's how the industry works. produce 101 is a perfect example because the members are voted in by fans. In a "real life" setting, those would be ones with more fans and as such, with more popularity, more sales, more chances of making it in the industry. It doesn't mean the girls who do win this way aren't talented, just that they capture people's attention more. It's sad for ones that are maybe even more talented but don't get the spotlight as much, but it's how the world of entertainment works, even without these types of shows

Fire_Lilly the saddest thing about produce is they selectively give spotlight to the one which they wish to debut from the start. I mean this is how business works. Business will only choose the one who can bring money. Even though idol is talented if they are not attractive, fans will not be crazy about them. But the most heartbreaking thing is the some people worked so hard for their dreams but they rarely get any spotlight because they are not as pretty as or as cute as the others.

NCT is the most active those years and their concept is going to be the sm's downfall if they keep on doing it because some people will lose interest and their career in Korea is more important than international since that's their language first. I think they need to do well in digital not just physical sales. SM needs to be saved instead because they're the only active group. They are not even doing well in Japan like TWICE, BIGBANG, Boa, TVXQ, SNSD, and SHINee. In the U.S. no one can beat BLACKPINK and BTS. In China, BIGBANG and EXO rules. Now they are active together with BTS, TWICE, and BLACKPINK, they are getting popular but they aren't even that BRAND yet like those mentioned groups. They established their names first in Korea before going International. NCT on the other hand, they do have fans in Korea but they don't really have any hit there that make the general public go crazy. I just want to say before you claim that it's their year I hope you guys help them in their digitals first. They don't even attend variety shows as a whole and only make content themselves here in yt and vlive. Some people's opinion about 4th gen. idols is why do they pursue international first instead of Korea that's their take on kgroups nowadays that's why they don't know and support. If you guys think that they don't need Korean validation and that it's their loss that they don't appreciate nct, think again. In order to be longer in their industry, they need to be known.
