I wasn't really a fan of Hyeri, but after watching this show, she's gained a fan! I really like how she stayed true to herself in midst of the high popularity. She stayed humble and nothing really changed with her group members. They really look like sisters, than members. The bond in Girl's day is something else!

I remember watching Reply 1988 and that scene when she found out her grandmother died was so sad..i thought Hyeri did a really really great job acting in that scene but i didn't know her grandmother died the day before they filmed that scene :( And seeing the bts and she couldn't stop crying even when the director said "cut"..

I didn't realize how close yura and hyeri were, it seems like they hang out a lot which is nice. They're one of the only groups that actually seem close lol. Its really refreshing.

Not a big fan of girls day but hyeri is one adorable little shit lmao seriously I fell in love with her after reply 1988, she seems like such a sweet dork and because of her I got to see how the other girls are and they are quite cute together~

Adryanna Mataele Initially, i wasn't a girl's day fan but I'm now Hyeri's fan after watching Reply 1998. Wasn't into Girl's Day because of their overly-sexy concept. However, Hyeri seems to be a simpler girl and doesn't mind looking bad for the camera or go without makeup. After watching this episode, I learned that she has a great personality too which I like her even more. She needs more recognition for her acting and I hope she has more lines as an idol too.

Tbh I'm not a fan of girl's day anymore but seriously their friendship is no joke. They're really close with one another, you can really feel that through the way they act. It's the tiny things they do that matter. They even feed each other and all. ^^ They're all carefree people too it's like they never had any issues with each other before! The realest girl group I've seen so far.

agreed! theyre one of idol groups that doesnt show their closeness only for fanservice. i love watching their variety show tough i dont listen to their music lol. none of groups i stan show affection towards each member the way they do :(

After watching this episode, my perspective of Hyeri seriously changed so much. I was one of those people who doubted her when she got the role for Reply 1988, and I was never really a fan of her. But after this episode, I saw how she's so funny by being herself, and she's also so kind and generous. I'm also not a fan of Girl's Day, but even I know how close these girls are and the struggle they went through before they became popular.

Too many true story behind Reply 1988. Never really notices Hyeri in person while she was in Girl’s Day. She’s so cheerful, hope she always doing okay cos an old quote saying that people who laugh the most will cry the loudest. I cheer each of all these people. Just started watch Reply 1988 and can’t stop laughing and crying 💕💕

This episode made me cry because I love Girl's Day friendship and they go through a lot, but they push through. I love them so much and I'm so glad they're happy! I love my girls so much!!!

To be honest, I think a lot of people weren't aware that Girl's Day had a really tough start once they made a debut. They really struggled for years and years (a little more than 4 years) until they finally had their big breakthrough with their song called Something. I think their long struggle made them become sisters and I think that's where they formed the mentality that if at least one of them needs to succeed, they all succeed. I've grown fond of Girl's Day the day of their debut and I am so happy for their success. They really earned it. DAI5Y for life!

+womba wombi Happy Together always has this problem. Actually most korean variety shows have this problem. The more popular guests, especially idols will have more screentime. It annoys me so much, but i know i can't change anything about it. Girls day are fine, but everyone needs equal timing. The other guests seem like very interesting and charismatic people too but aren't given much chances.

When Yura talked about the taste of colours, it sounds to me like she has a form of synesthesia; I'm guessing none of the mcs and guests (including Yura herself, since she seems surprised no one experiences what she does) know about that phenomenon.

It might not be synesthesia though. People diagnosed synesthesia experience very strong symptoms. Though I do not have synesthesia myself, I think I can understand what they mean by food tasting black and white. Black would be referring to food with a strong and likely bitter taste, like oyster as yura mentioned. And white would be food that tastes bland, like plain rice porridge.

I watched reply 1988 more than 10times. This drama totally reminds me of my childhood life. I have older sister and younger brother just like in the drama. Even their personality are exactly like me and my siblings. Just like This drama is about my life and feel like I go back to my childhood. Thank you for making this drama! Really enjoyed👍🏻🥰😍 I will continue to love drama reply 1988 and sure share with others.

am feeling sorry for the two other guest. even the editting team cant make a smooth transition from Hyeri's talk to Seyoung. you can see clear when suddenly Jaesuk talk to Seyoung or Noeul without any proper bridging. out of nowhere she was asked to imitate other celeb. hahahaha this will always be a variety show problems. not my fave episode. but I'm inspired with Hyeri's life story. 😘😘

Mini Eungdahara 88 reunion Hyeri, Sung-won & Se-young. 😍 I'm particularly glad Hyeri is a rising star now that people respect, she use to get so much hate in the past, Girl's Day as a whole to be honest, but now her & the group are getting proper respect I felt they've always deserved. Yoo Jaesuk has an amazing memory, he must know so many people but he's still able to remember details about most of them. I wonder if he has like a bunch of files on his computer with all the info he knows and remembers about people, especially when he saw them

I've watched some of Hyeri's CFs. I can see why she's popular since she makes the CFs interesting to watch. Surprised that the Girl's Day's members didn't share the CF money.

wow hyeri 🥺 i just finished watching reply 1988. i remembered how much i cried with that scene when she found about her grandmother. i didnt know that happened behind the scenes. admire hyeri for being so strong 🥺❤️
