I know I have a one song at a time rule but, but rules are meant to be broken from time to time. Here is the second song Happy performed for me at NERFA, the traditional song "Make Me A Pallet On Your Floor. Never get tired of hearing Happy play and sing.

Love "make me a pallet on yer floor." Some people have not heard of a pallet. . but one was made for us kids when company came to stay. Any one else have a memory of a pallet? Is it a southern thing?

+Sharon Knight For some years it was my bed until 11 or 12 years of age. It was just pile of horse blankets, or army blankets with a sheet on the floor to sleep on. Then usually you either fold or roll it up and put away. At least that was my experience. Oh I lived mostly in the north. I think it is more a necessity of convince when you have limited living space.

Had 3 grandkids and their friend over last night. Made 4 pallets on the floor. We are in Alabama so it may be a southern thing.

69 and prefer pallet. Back in great shape and I always did manual labor (mechanic).
