As a german I can say that most of the people are NOT rich. Its the economy and industry. In fact, the people are getting poorer and poorer. Increasing energy costs, high energy cost and Inflation and the current war lead to more problems. Greetings from Bavaria.

Modern Germany is product of the west allies, mostly US. They rebuilt the country, industrialized it, help them with war reparations (not to mention those 13 bilion dollars that they sent to war reparations in western Europe). Now they use them like their puppies, but honestly. You saw this new situation with tanks being sent to Ukraine. Germany didn't want to do it and after their west brothers touched them a little they already had to do it.

Part of reason the US got to where 20/30 years ago, was immigrants coming to our shores, stepping up helping us with their expertise etc. A very, very high percentage was that out of Germany, Austria and other Prussian influences.

The US also helped Germany rebuilt after ww2 by giving them about 15 billion dollars with the Marshall Plan. Edit:15 billion dollars at the end of ww2 is equivalent to 173 billion dallars in 2023 when adjusted for inflation (which is quiet a lot)

What was there to steal during WW2? Do you have a brain? Think about it: what was left after the world's largest conflict in history had taken place in Europe, around Germany? A broken bicycle? Even if they did steal something, I'm sure you're able to figure out that by the end of WW2, it would be broken. Noone was stealing valuable things anymore, only food and everyday things to even survive after their city got bombed for the third time in a row.

germany's a powerhouse because they have so many small companies working in a good environment. small is like 100 employees. They got tons of it.. second is quality...they build high quality stuff because they have apprentiships in machining. They have big companies yes, but they rely on the small companies spread trough all cities and rural areas
