Jack in regards to the opening of the episode, most comedians would say when you’re passed at comedy clubs that’s when you’re a stand up, selling tickets to a comedy show is different, still very entertaining but that’s not stand up

£25k is a decent wage. Half of all households in the UK make less than £29.9k in total income. A couple each making £25k are pretty well off comparatively.

@@STRmw2 I didn’t mean that it’s acceptable that so many people make that wage or that life is easy on that wage. It isn’t. The cost of housing especially means that most of that is gone immediately. I meant that a large portion of British people will never earn that much in a single year. Roughly 35% of full time workers earn less than £25k, never mind those in part-time work, zero-hours contracts, and unemployment.
