My neighborhood, had the neighbor from hell for eight years. He was violent and people were rightfully scared of him. The police were contacted numerous times but they didn't really do anything. However, he had many egregious code violations. The neighborhood filed complaints with the dept. of Fish and Wildlife, State Waterboard, and county code enforcement. He was forced to leave because he couldn't pay the fines, or pay to come into compliance. Peace has been restored.

These ones do it very subtly and carefully just to drive me crazy, through all my phones through my personal life, lustening to anything in my apt. Little subtle things, control on my personal things they reading it all set ot up too, i remembered! They will answer oneday

This is why I like southern states you have a right to carry guns to defend yourself. I have a neighbor threatening to beat me up even has his daughter threatening me. A neighbor across the street said something year ago and he has sense passed away but they keep threatening lately saying they are going to beat me up. I'm a elderly old man who stand a chance in a fight. Sadly I don't live in a southern state but hope to move to one to live out my remaining days.

I am a former US resident, returned to my native Italy where I inherited a house. Talk about narcisistic neighbours..I had to sell the house..

So sad Pennsylvania doesn’t have something more useful to protect against harassment.

My upstairs professional neighbor stomps around while he's home. As soon as I play any music he complains to the landlord and they believe him because he's been here for 5 years.

Unfortunately I’ve been dealing with this as my neighbor to my left is especially nosey. He sometimes plays music way too loud and somehow knows when I'm at the window that's in the kitchen facing the backyard. Plus, he's been involved with people I've had issues went in the past. He and his wife (I suppose) also seems to know things about me that I never told him.

Here in CA you can get a restraining order against neighbors, but unless you have documentation, and eye witnesses who will come to court with you, the judge will say its a " he said, she said" situation, and won't give you a restraining order. Its really hard to get a restraining order, tho technically its possible.

Had that happen so I talked to some Hawaiian friends and they had a little talk with him. Never bothered me again ever.
