Just bought two of these with two of the 100’ Merlin, 3/8” air hoses. They work great together.

I just both 1 of the merline 25 ft hose - nice product, I also bought the merlin industrial quick disconnects, much better than the automotive type - watch for a video for each of these soon - thanks for subscribing!

Great review, but you're going to hate that PVC hose. I will never get that hose again.

Thanks ! I use the PVC on a reel by the garage door and use it for car tires only, so I won't have to use it that much, I use the green hybrid hoses for my woodworking (I have a review of the green hose already posted) - I like them - I am interested in details of why you don't like it - thanks for Subscribing

Yeah, I wondered! I was like, Hmm... why did someone buy a brand new orange 100Ft 300PSI air hose a a Central Pneumatic hand roller , drag them both out of their packaging and then donate them to the youth ranch thrift store? As I was rolling this up and before that untangling and untwisting the hose down the block, I realized. The guy that bought this was really pissed at it! LOL. anyway, rolling 100ft of that hose up without the gizmo bolted to a wall or something is a MONSTER PAIN IN THE BUTT! I put dual disconnects just because I had them. but I got all this for 10.00 so I really can't gripe too much. If it doesn't work out in the shop I will hang it out back and just get a better one for the shop. That way I can access air over the entire back yard. Mines not bent up like yours is by the way, perfectly straight. That kid in china that made yours must have been having a bad day. Great video though. I am going to unroll mine after I let it set in the sun for a bit, it will probably roll up nicer that way Plus I have to anyway to bolt it up. :0)

I don’t get it the little swivel spot don’t you need to connect that to the air compressor?? How would I do that

in the video I used a quick disconnect, but a hose will connect directly to the input, the input does not swivel, its stationary, the hub turns and the swivel spot stays stationary - thanks for subscribing

Are all of them bent like that (min 2:30 you mention it)? I was about to go exchange the one I got until I saw this video now. Does that impact anything at all?

they are flexible, and you can bend them a little if you need to, so they will clear the mount - and it really has no impact to the performance of the reel - Thanks for Subscribing!

what size hose did you try it with ? did you try to get keep it organized? I'm sure the spec was developed with 1/4" inch hose and keeping it well organized - can you post a video or a least a picture so viewers will be sure to see your results
