Now I bought my 5 drawer when the new one wasn't available. But I still think it's about right for me. I have alot of tools in cases (no good way to organize outside the case) so the cubby underneath is nice. And for my home use tools it's just some pliers sockets and wrenches. Don't have nearly as much as I do at work. However I also have two smaller tool boxes given to me cause my dad ran out of space to store them. I keep my consumables in those. And more car parts lol. I have a fuel system drawer electrical. Fuses. Timing hardware etc

That lock also allows the drawers to open even when the lid is closed

I bought 4 wrench organizer sets from tool widget and honestly, they’re amazing. As far as the socket organizers, I need mine to be upside down because it drives me crazy when the open end of the socket is facing upwards. Otherwise, tool widget would be the way to go. It is pricey if you buy them for a lot of sockets. They also have plier organizers as well.

Hey Cody, oh cool. Ya we rarely move our sockets, plus they are labeled so we know exactly what size. I had the husky organizers before and did not like them. These are great imo. The wrench organizers save so much space! I like the Gear Wrench ones cause the spacers slide. I think other do the same idk. It will be a continual development to get the box perfect haha. thanks for watching man.

Tool cart edges i use masking tape so when i hang up my power tools it never leaves a scratch

You can add the 5 drawer folding side shelf to it. Just drill holes in it using the handle as a template and it'll screw into the factory handle holes

I bolted the harbor freight side cabinet to the handle holes and it works perfectly on the box

I can kill two birds with one stone here. Go down to HF and get some of the magnet strips for haning tools on and put them in your drawers. That's how I organize my pliers, ratchets, screwdrivers, wrenches etc. Once you get enough on them they don't slide around and the drawer mats will stay in place. I learned this trick from a KZfaqr in Canada.

Thinking about the cart with the discount this weekend…every store I have gone into to test them out the plastic locking mechanism on the top drawer has failed.

You can actually remove the plastic from the drawer handles, it just slides in and out from the right hand side. That piece is optional I belive.

I had the 30" cart and it really did not work out that well for me. Drawer arrangement and particularly depth made it useless for my needs. I just bought the 34" cart on a Black Friday deal and the difference is NIGHT AND DAY! I know that the difference in price is considerable, but those of you who can't decide which one to go with...I highly recommend the 34" cart.

Love my 30" so much got 3 More! I compared to the blue point and the Blue point almost 1000 bucks I got all 4 + some ratchets for 1000. Are they good as Blue point yes the wheels are going to be changed to the same type as Blue point other than that great cart not to big put a shelf on one glove holder and getting the paper towel rack. Anyway harbor freight stepped up on the boxes have fun.

I use both at work. The 5 drawer is fight. The 6 drawer is just such a nice box.

@@user-qjvqfjv To me "Is Fight" means it is ready to go to war. Total Unit. The 5 drawer isn't as nicely finished as the larger 6 drawer but it is very sturdy plus smaller and more maneuverable. I'm afraid of scratching my 6 drawer but I regularly press in and out ball joints in steering knuckles on my 5 drawer. I use an 18 wheeler mud flap cut to fit as my open top drawer liner. Peace.

Mine has been good so far. Especially for the money. The wheels seem good to me. The snap on and other boxes are very similar but 4 times the cost.

Since you got a bigger box an have empty space means you can go back to harbor freight tools and buy more tools right. Like me an my dad say we can never have enough tools. Us boys with our toys right. Can never have enough tous.lol! I been paralyzed for 27 years now from a rare cancer I'm good now. But I still have alot my tools. I have a big house for me an my dad. An I got a garage that is 40 feet deep am 48 feet wide an as tall as my 2 story house. An a 40 foot container next to my garage.so I have a top an middle craftsman boxes filled with craftsman tools an I have 3 other boxes filled with tools. Since last year me an my dad has been going to harbor freight tools once a month an we both got the us general 5 drawer tool cart and I been filling mine up with harbor freight tools especially the Pittsburgh name. Hopefully by this summer it will be full. Might have to start over again.lol. Between me an my dad we have alot of tools
