I just bought mine, literally the only cordless vacuum with wheels that has an optional bag attachment!! When you do alot of drywall, you need the bag attachment and the Bauer drywall sander is so freaking nice! It's a great pair!

Been thinking about grabbing this vac. Thanks for the video. Definitely going to grab one now that I know what I'm getting. Should work great for what I need.

Great video! Thanks dude! I really wish they would have included a drain valve for the wet vac portion. Being older means its harder to lift an awkward item such as a sloshing heavy tub of water to be dumped out.

Thanks for watching. I agree !

@@MotorCityMetalArt i laughed when you were twisting off the cover that secures the dry filter, and it fell in the bucket of water and said "Don't do that. "

I got it when it first came out. I like it! Can’t wait for the bigger batteries come out. Got the cordless hand-vac, and I use almost every day. No complaints.
@MotorCityMetalArt2 жыл бұрын
I think we will see larger batteries this year. With the way they have been coming out with new tools and making brushless models
@brraaaaaaaaaaap2 жыл бұрын
If you cut the little nub off the tool where you plug in the battery a dewalt battery will work on a bauer tool
@MotorCityMetalArt2 жыл бұрын
@@brraaaaaaaaaaap yes I did try this. It does work my dad is invested in the DeWalt line. I'm more invested in Milwaukee line. I ended up buying a adapter to use my batteries.

Hercules just released a 12 amp hour battery so it won’t be long before Bauer has one too😅

Great review, looks like a very handy tool. Just curious about the run time on the 5.0 Amp hour battery?

Great question I'm not exactly sure I'll have to test that and do a video.

I bought the Hercules dual power vacuum and then the Bauer 6 gallon 120 volt and already had a big Hart 10 gallon vacuum with a drain plug. I use them all! Depending on what job I'm doing.

Can never have enough vacuums. I just bought a shark messmaster today for the house

Excellent video, on my way to purchase one right now. I love my Ridgid 16 gallon but hate how awkward it can be especially when it hangs on the cord

Reason why it hard a hard time sucking that water was because of gravity. The vacuum is placed too high and all that water in the hose is heavy and wants to exit the hose
@erik93587 ай бұрын
Nice ! How long does it last ?

are there any attachments for this vacuum??

How does this vacuum compare to the Ryobi Shop Vac? They seem similar. I use cheap Walmart filters and reusable filter bags to save on bags.
@MotorCityMetalArt4 ай бұрын
I am not sure. It looks really similar but not sure about performance wise.
@omarstephenson70002 жыл бұрын
Does the filter look similar to filters used on some Shop Vacs?
@MotorCityMetalArt2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is and will fit other shop vacs
@omarstephenson70002 жыл бұрын
@@MotorCityMetalArt I guess you can use some Shop Vac brand HEPA type filters and some Shop Vac brand dust collection bags if that's the case.

So how many gallons of liquid will it hold? Looked like you started with 4
@jennamiller31148 ай бұрын
Probably about 4 or 5. It fills pretty quickly.
@bookkeeperjoshua3 ай бұрын
Would it be good for cleaning sofas and extracting sofas?
@MotorCityMetalArt3 ай бұрын
Ehh I don't think so. I think you'd have better experience with a more powerful plug in unit. Check out the shark messmaster wet dry nice little small unit
@bookkeeperjoshua3 ай бұрын
@@MotorCityMetalArt thank you. But yes I would do a plug in unit. But I need access to power, since I have my sofas at a storage unit.

Thank you for showing this video. So company says it's 7 gallons and you have a 5 gallon bucket of water but you only sucked up about 3 to 4 gallons in the vacuum. Is this a error of measurements inside the vacuum from the company?🤔
@MotorCityMetalArt2 жыл бұрын
I think they're measuring total volume the vacuum would only let me suck up that much liquid before the ball check valve stopped it
@asmith41492 жыл бұрын
@@MotorCityMetalArt Okay cool but is the suction strong enough to pick up lots of build up dirt from the floor of a big commercial work?
