Battery nerd here you never want your battery drop to 12.2 V always keep it up a healthy battery would sit at 12.9 to13.2

I totally understand what your saying.. I just trying a few Things out as I try new items. Didn't even know my deep cycle battery was so weak. I Bought a 12.8-13v Lithium Lifepo 100A/H battery.. So much power compared to a Deep Cycle and the Weight is unbelievable. Thanks for watching.

The alarm and fail was just the voltage dropping. Put a couple healthy batteries on it and bet it runs the compressor.

Get yourself a couple of Deep cycle AGM 8 Ds. Then you will get the maximum wattage from the inverter .you probably could be good with one battery. Either way, you need to have a good charger set up. Thanks for the review

I actually bought 100ah Lithium Battery with charger that works great for this setup. I appreciate the Input. I was thinking going that way then I did more research and them Lithium Battery are only 19 lbs and 10 year self life(they say?) either way its better than thenold deep cycle battery's. Any compressor with back pressure will require more wattage to overcome the increased resistance ( Aircompressor, Air conditioners , Refrigerators or pumps ). The marine battery used was basically a car starting battery and lonely ( like lifting a heavy appliance yea I can lift that fridge up but only one time ) the more the merrier. Deep cycle and lifepo4 battery's are designed to deliver continuous power longer not short burst power . The other issues is the single cable set maximum is 3000w it even says you need 2 cables to get the 5000w advertised. You would need 2 more 3000w cable sets to be able to attain the 10,000 watt peak (3000+ watt cable set x3 9××× watts). If I remember correctly it is close to 750 amps of draw/load. I'm happy with the potential it has I seen the 3000w failed , watched this video to see if the 5000w would start the air compressor . Thank you for uploading and sharing this may be something I can afford at tax time . Good luck and hope everything works without troubles.

I bought a 100ah Lithium Battery for this invertor.. Lifepo batteries are 1 to 1 when deep cycle battery only give you 50% of the power there rated for. I did my research when buying batteries for this invertor. Thanks for watching and thanks for the Information you provided. These Invertors and Batteires have came along way.

Got the same for $160 at HF but it was a returned been watching for few weeks price was 299 and keep on dropping litttle by little.

x2 sets of 2/0 awg cables. Need x4 100AHr Batteries. 400A DC Breaker on the Positive pole bolted down and then both of the 2/0 cables bolted to the end of the positive lead to Battery Bank. We pull 4,250 watts through it for 15 minutes, No Issues. Pro's: Can handel near 75% max rating if wired right with enough batteries to pull from. Cons: Modified sine wave ripple not strong or smooth enough be be safely used with sensitive electronics. Motors struggle somewhat but Induction elements heat no problem as long as you have enough Batteries and stay near 4,000w or under side it should service fine for a few years. Unit is 120v AC only at 12v DC = Crazy High amps. Unit is high frequency. Not meant to run off single 12v battery unless small loads under 1000w @ 10 amps for less than 10 minutes. ( Rule goes for the 4k, 3k and 2k model can be applied in single battery 12v mode) Thoughts? Would love to see a 24v model for efficiency.

I'm pretty positive it was turning off because it was sucking too much voltage from the little battery and the emergency battery cut off was turning on so you don't damage your battery

My only grip about Jupiter Power Invertors is there all "Modified Sine Wave." For most tools and simple elctronics it not a huge problem but if you plug in any thing with sentuitive electronic like computers, TVs, or any thing with SMART in its name youll be lucky if it just dosent work.

It will run 1200 watt pancake compressor No problm- you have to have the right battery for this inverter you can't use a regular car battery it says in the manual of this inverter do not use a car battery. To run this inverter you need a Deep Cycle Marine & RV battery/s

Your right in what your saying. That Deep cycle battery I used for this Video was very old and not fully charged. Car battery will not work for any serious power like it needs to be. I know got a 100 A/H Lio Lithium Ion Battery(Power Queen) for this invertor with a 10 year storage life. Highly Recommended for this setup. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Gary. Could you tell me if this inverter could run a normal size kitchen fridge and a box freezer in the garage, and if so, for how long app? Also how long does it take battery to charge via solar panel? Tnx much!

Yes it will and it all depends on the battery you decide to purchase. I Recommend a Lithium Ion Lifo Battery 100a/h. There light weight and double the power storage as you regular deep cycle battery. Refrigerator and deep freezer don't draw much once there fully cooled down and not opened much. Thanks For watching

That usually means the Unit is still hot. Vehicles do the Same thing. There usually on a Thermostat system I think. Thanks for watching

I guess I don't understand what your trying to say? I just do what I do so folks know what to expect when they watch how the Invetor works. Some folks don't know what to look for when hooking up to a Battery. I bought a 100 AH Lithium Ion Battery for it now. The battery I used was an Old Marine Battery just to use for testing purposes only.. Thats all. Thanks For watching.

The reason it couldn't start the air compressor is because your using a deep cycle. If you used lithium it would of started it no issue. Promise you that

Your 100% right.. Deep cycle Battery only uses half of what it says too. Ive done alot of research before I bought a 100 a/h Lithium Battery.($350) That battery i used was just an Old Deep cycle that I had laying around anyways. Thanks for information and watching my Video.

Maybe It depends on the Battery.. I now use a Lithium 100 AH Battery. It has alot more direct power. Marine batteries have less direct power from the research. Lithium batteries use 1 to 1 power were Marine batteries and glass mat use 50 to 1. I'm still learning on all this stuff. Thanks for watching.

I haven't tried that Yet.. Manufacturers do that in Medium duty trucks and other applications. I had 3 hooked up in my Isuzu towtruck

That's all I had, and it was charged for the most part. I wasn't sure what I wanted to buy at 1st before researching and testing. It actually did pretty good for testing out the inverter straight out of the box. I ended buying a100ah Lifo Lithium ion Battery(Highly Recommended). Thanks for watching.

You probably don't have enough Battery Power. I upgraded to a 100 AH Lifo Lithium ion battery. It has way more power. I just had an old battery for this when I did this Unboxing. It should handle the heat Gun and more. Thanks for watching

@PedroSanchez-kw1jh Yes, it will hook up to any 12v battery. Just a regular car battery won't put out as much and last near as long as recommended battery. Deep Cycle or a Lifepo4. Lithium Batteries (the best)are your best options Thanks for watching!
