Really appreciate your last video. I also thought my bladder was bad. Tightened up all screws and is working much better. Thank you again

Glad it was good info for you! I'm the proud owner of 2 pumps because I found out about the loose screws the hard way.

Hey @GBear - I'm planning to use this with a water tank from rainwater collection but have a question. There is a small gap about 2 ft long between my check valve and the water level in the pipe from the tank. Therefore, when the pump kicks on there is going to be some air in the 2in pipe. Do you think that will prevent it from working?

Yes, that air will prevent it from working properly. The pipes need to be air and water tight between the water source and the faucet.

Its very clear even just with your texts in the other video. Thank you so much to make this video just for me! I'm going to try again to close up all the pipes to see if I can get water out from this 15-16ft waterhole, if its positive, I'll get a jet pump to permanently install it. if not I may have to find another location to dig a deep hole like my original expectation to get to 25ft. Just its not the right time everything is tight! Will let you know today's result! Thank you again! Helen

Good weekend G Bear! A little good news. Yestersady I closed up all the pipes using this Tanked pump, first try the gauge got up to 60psi, then I release the outlet water, it pumped about 30 seconds, then I had to reprime it 3-4 times otherwise it couldn't gain enough pressure to pump, but each time it only lasted about 10-30 seconds. So I went to Harborfreight and got the Jet pump; reset the pipes with the jet pump. the first trial with 1 inch outlet lasted about a few mins then the pump started choking, I thought it was likely the well is not deep enough to have continous water supply with 1 in fast flow, so I reduced the 1 inch to connect the normal 3/4'' with my garden hose, to my little content, it gave me time to water parts of my garden, about 20-30 mins. And this morning I tried again to accumulate water into a 80 gallon barrel, however it still took 2-3 restart the pump, because towards the end the pump chokes, it can't release water out continuously, but the good thing was I didn't have to reprime the pump after each stop. I conclusion is, this 15 ft hole can't not fulfill my purpose for refilling my fish pond without a pain of ass! I would have to dig another hole at another location at least reaching 25ft. Really don't know what the luck is ahead, because this hole was already the 2nd dig (10-15 ft away from the house), we hit gravels arounf this depth, couldn't go further manualy last year. Don't know if this is a layer of geographical structure in this area or gravels rushed down from the building consruction more than 120 years ago.Still don't know what the luck ahead if I more much further away from the house. How do you sense this, G Bear? Thank you!

@helenzhu8331 yes, sounds like your well can't keep up with the water you need. You're going to have to go deeper for more GPM's.

I am surprised you have not put an inline hydro gen on it

I had plans for a hydro gen 10 years ago. Got lost in the move and shuffle.
