I really enjoy all of your episodes for these last few years and always look forward to each new one. Your videos encompass how I feel towards the ocean as I grow to learn about it and live off of it every year. Thanks for capturing these moments, Hopefully one day I can enjoy freediving for abalone

I never had abalone in my life. It's very expensive. Love the video and what a cool dad.

Its nice to see so much respect for the ocean. If we all do our part it will be there for future generations. This is a resource we cannot abuse. Thanks for the video.

I pulled into a spot north of the Russian River several years ago. It was a parking area with picnic tables and bathrooms. Me and my girlfriend went out and when we came back in a group from Berkeley Rad Lab were there on one of their yearly trips. They were about twenty strong and we were invited to sit with them and eat abalone. It was cooked five different ways and all of the presentations were great.

It's a great and wonderful sport, I've done it since I was a kid! but this sport can take your life in seconds. people underestimate the waters here on the sonoma and Mendocino coast.
