The boys set out to make an educational “best practice” shark fishing video, after a considerable increase in recreational fishermen targeting Sharks. There has also been an increase in accidental Great White Shark captures by recreational fishermen. After some 10 years targeting Bronze Whaler Sharks, the boys have only ever seen one Great White Shark and never hooked one while Shark fishing. What takes place completely blows their minds!
Welcome to The Lateral Line Show starring Milan Radonich and Nathan O’Hearn, two best mates exploring the wild and hidden pathways of NZ chasing trophy kingfish and gigantic snapper in shallow waters.
The Lateral Line is an Online TV show all about teaching you the knowledge & techniques to catch trophy fish in shallow water.,
Subscribe to this channel to keep up with the internet's best in kingfish and snapper fishing while Milan and Nato are having the best time of their lives on Sojourn.

dumb question but dont gw need continues movement in order to breath? isnt holding it still basically like drowning it
@TheLateralLine
@TheLateralLine 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not a dump question ! But thank you for asking rather then attacking as many other people have. Short answer to your question is No. Long answer to your question is…….. all fish need water going through there gills to breath!!!! Pretty strait forward. If you watch under water footage of white sharks they don’t “breath” and, by that I mean they don’t open and close there mouths like loads of other fish do when watching them under water. Sharks always have there mouths slightly open and the forward momentum pushes water through there Gills. So, when the sharks are stationary (they are very rarely stationary but it has been observed) then they will open and close there mouths to push water through there Gills. If you watch the under water footage of the shark on the beach you can clearly see the shark open and closing its mouth which is passing water over its gills 😁 I hope that makes some sense. We thank you for your comment 😎

Just to add to other replies, while its 'beached' facing towards the water, the natural tide/ flow that makes shore waves is going through gills. :)

You are correct--absolutely true. Which of course is why they released it pretty fast--it must forward to strain oxygen from the water.

@@TheLateralLine Some of the drone footage is unbelievable and I always enjoy the time lapse stuff too... Nato is a lean mean fishing machine, and you just top it off with the commentary and the laughs ,and the brilliant camera work...by far the best fishing show out there chaps ...Good health to you both ,from a cold wet England 🇬🇧

All the sharks we have caught just calm right down as soon as there belly’s touch the sand and if they aren’t out of the water to the point where there is weight on there belly’s to though. It was a crazy cool experience 😍 thanks for taking the time to comment 😎

Big Angry Fish was like a religion to me n my mates! Just so good to see a fishing show that targeted some of the fish we chased in South Oz! Plus it was made by a couple of Champs that always vibed with an honest love for the fish and fishing. Still shows! Mad Respect.

I think there are real life “jaws” already in there from time to time to drop there pups? Well, we are guessing that at least one big mature female white shark are visiting and dropping her pups in this harbour? Thanks for watching 😁

Jesus Christ what an episode. Such amazing creatures and just ridiculous how plentiful they are. I got into fishing only recently but have heard the stories of the golden age not so long ago when big kings and big snapper were accessible by any angler via boat or shore. These days we really have to work for our fish. It would be amazing to have a positive change for our fishery and maybe one day have plentiful enough numbers to be allowed to target these crazy fish. We can only hope. Great vid lads, keep it up ❤️

I would love to know just how many are in there 😳 really good to see! And for the record you can still catch plenty of snapper and king fish from shore or boat. The king fish fishing this year is the best we have seen in 15 years 😁😎👍 thanks for your comment 👍
