Hard exudates are lipoproteinaceous deposits in the retina occurring along with the leakage of the vessels. Seen with chronic vasculopathy like diabetic retinopathy, branch vein obstruction, retinal artery macroaneurysm, hemangioma.
SUBRETINAL EXUDATES : are seen in coats disease and hemangioma .
