Klein tools makes a fan that clips on the back of your hardhat with ducts to direct the air flow under the hat.

That would be a good option if I or anyone didn’t have to attach a welding hood to their hard hat.

How was vibration? If any at all. Great idea. I’ll get some small solar screens from garden lights, weld them in series and see if I can get any power and how long they can last for a small size fan.

With ear plugs and shop noise it wasn’t noticeable. That’s a good idea if you’re outside mostly.

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing. The Klein design is just dumb and extremely bulky.
