Very Good video, very entertaining. Two things I learned from that flight: 1. Do not trust entirely weather reports, even if it just came out. 2. I was able to see how quickly Weather deteriorates. It can go from MVFR to solid IFR in minutes and your options start going away. Always plan for that, take plenty of fuel and brief your options.

thought "hard IMC" was clickbait. that was a lot! controller sounded saturated. stranded at HIO and you didn't even pack an overnight bag.

Psh. You should know better than to think I would ever use click bait! Maybe.. I over sensationalize occasionally…. But NEVER click bait lol. And yea, fortunately I knew if a little place just down the street that could put me up for the night 😆

Because the goal was to practice. I was never intending to land at MMV :-) Although I had planned to do the ILS there after the VOR, but it got late and with conditions deteriorating we went straight to Hillsboro :)
