I've had that issue with the trim twice. In my case, both times, rainwater got in the trim switch on the throttle. A hair dryer on the switch for a while dried it out enough to stop making contact.

Your over thinking all of your bait selection. You just didn’t stay in the areas with big fish.

I would wager that most of the fisherman that have those feelings about Chicago and Detroit (and I’d venture to guess Minneapolis as well) is because they’re super racist. For example - there’s a guy who really enjoys baits with a KZfaq channel (not saying names) who has quite the appreciation for the confederate flag. It wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of the southern anglers had some strong feelings about certain people.
