I also do enjoy extra smalls but this map honestly sucks. The reason is that players have very limited resources and by the end of the party it’s all about some stupid bunch of basic unit rule the game. Everyone tries to save up as many as possible which results in a dumb dance around the damn derrick in the center. One chases, another runs away and vise versa. Somebody would call it chess-like tactics but it’s basically annoying. I can’t recall anybody building even a war lab just because of lack of credits. No spectacular mess up, no strategy by me. I don’t understand why people are keen on this map so much, but it probably could be interesting if parties were much shorter, but players do sneaky campers and won’t hesitate to fuck over each other until there are just a couple of infantry left.

I use BF before is the best tactic here but also i try to save the oil, usually lose the oil, you can't take it and you can ignore it that is the beautiful of this map.

Or honestly just keep 1 engineer on hand near the oil refinery to instantly repair it Incase they damage it really fast like when you got hit with an air strike then a V3 rocket, it only costs 500$, and having 2 barracks was just a waste of money, it would make sense if you had like 2000$ or more to just make units faster but that extra barracks was just a waste, you could’ve built 1-2 rocketeers or an extra patriot missile instead. I may insult a bit but you just make bad plays way too often for someone that has played this game as much as you have.

I think you never play this map and v3 can take down the rocketeers if this explode near to them, i do many mistakes that is true but this is an old video anyway.

That can be good, make an engineer to repair but in my exp0erience in this map take the oil and use that extra money for make units for late game is better because you can't defend it vs experienced players 3 guys gone a try to destroy it, the best unit here is battle fortress but not always you can make it.
