I always carry two sets of cross link v bar snow chains because tires by themselves don’t cut it if you’re out there and get two feet overnight

Those traction boards seem to break pretty easy in low temperatures on rock. For what MaxTrax charges, they better have a good warranty.

Looks as though MaxTrax needs to modify their formula to handle cold weather. There’s no excuse for multiple traction boards to blow apart like that. Maybe they should take a page out of the gun manual for the polymers they use.

Dope video. I struggle to fit my blankets and pillows in my aspen lite. Maybe I need to loosen the latches to allow more space. But then there’s a gap in gaskets which stresses me out.

Are you deflating your mattress all the way? I like to use a pump / vacuum to make it as thin as possible. 2 blankets 2 pillows and a few other random items fit with the seal fully close no problem.
