John and Jonnie are out filming some old-school lifting and dropping of trailers during first cut courtesy of a JF 1100. There's plenty of classic machinery still about with an old Deere 3120 needing a bit of TLC and a Britains toy come to life in the shape of a Claas 695 Harvester! Love the chat about the 306. Back in them days we had SR starlets. 1332cc n/a at the weekend we went t-turbo hunt. Went like nothing. Toyota left then in 3 corners

Definitely miss the old school way, I used sit at the gimbal wall and watch the silage coming in. Ford 7610 trailing the NH yellow 575 and two jd’s 2040 and 2140s drawing two classic Kane trailers.

Jesus down in Tipp in the 90s, the place was full of those Jaguar 695s.. Saw them all summer !!

Wouldn't it be a great treat to see some footage of that Claas as part of the Friday fix! Sounds like a good days crack was had and that it doesn't feel like work when you're chasing your hobby.

God morning, not sure why this has popped up, however this has taken me back close on on 40 years. First farm McCormick 576 on the chopper,585xl pulling trailers and a 276 on the clamp 2nd farm 3350JD on the chopper, 3120 and 2650 hauling trailers and a case stockman cab 885 on the cab . That 3120 was such a smooth engine . Those John dogs would drink diesel with the rotary pump. Good videos boys , take care Dai from South Wales

I had a 695 chopping, TW35 on the buck rake and two..... two 1884 carting grass. 30yrs ago 😂#Britains💪🏻

Have a jf 900 but it's a few years since she was out. Hoping to get her going on the back of our ford 7810 this year if we have time to get the grass in before it grows too long

Should call down to steelgrass in fermanagh just down the road from barry read. They've either a 690 or a 695 and an 840 picking up grass with TMs mowing and drawing.

But then you can't look up at it to check you position line of sight easy! Think John wasn't sure about how well googles would work with the glasses on
