My wife transmitted it to me while trying to get preg. She is more upset about it than I am, id even describe her as terrified that I was going to leave her. I just want people to know that its not something to be bitter about. Things happen. Nobody is going to die. Don't let this get you down.

Hi i wanted to recommend something that helps greatly the honeypot has a coconut peppermint oil cream that is getting me through my first outbreak i also get little cuts and it hurt a ton its a purple bottle its called soothing lavander vulva cream but it works wonders! if i dont use it i feel like i might go crazy from the pain.

Have you ever transmitted the virus to any sexual partner or your current partner while taking the supplements that you take? I hope you can answer this for me because I’m currently taking antiviral medication everyday and I haven’t been intimate with anyone who is negative while I’ve been taking my medication every day, because of the fear of transmitting it to someone.

He is really responsible thinking of the potential partner. Some know they have it won’t even tell you their infected & have the nerve to not at least tell you let you make the decision if you still wanna be involved or not. Making sure to take all the precautions you need to protect you& them. Yet they will lay down with you only thinking about themselves. That’s wrong!!! Then if you wanna sue them for infecting you they wanna get offended. Do you know how embarrassing that is for someone to find out when they had no stds??? I truly respect this man for at least being honest & thinking out someone’s else life. Some ladies want to have kids no one wants to give that to their partner or put their unborn child at risk. All behind one person’s action not just saying I do have herpes I am taking antivirals I don’t mind using a condom. Not just set someone up then get results from their doctor you passed it to them. While your out just passing it around that’s wrong & not fair. Now you gotta explain to someone your into someone from your past gave herpes.

Yes, you can do that. Try and see if they make an upset stomach, in that case don't take them on an empty stomach, but with some food.

Thank you i just got diagnosed with both and im pregnant with my 1st baby and that was one of the parts that was making me depressed im still trying to get my mind together i went through a lot telling my boyfriend of 5 years he couldn’t believe me when i told him I didn’t cheat until his mom kind of educated him and told him and the drs told me it’s common for it to lie dormant for years and and it’s common for women to find out in pregnancy trying to not let my mind get the best of me but it’s a struggle

I've had it foe 3 years now and I don't know which one I have bc I don't have out breaks down there but it effects my tongue when the antiviral wasn't working for me so my doctor uped my dose to 500 and then that stopped working and I went up to a 1000 MG and it's been working for 6 months now now so does that mean I can't pass it to my partner??

There's no 100% guarantee you will not transmit herpes to your partner. With antivirals, the chances are very minimal, but your partner should still be aware of it.

If your body kept herpes dormant for 12 years, it seems whatever you're doing is working. Condoms do not offer that much protection against herpes really, There is no 100% guarantee you will not transmit. Informing your partner about and STD is crucial for a healthy relationship.
