IAS IPS ਬਣਨ ਲਈ UPSC ਵਰਗੇ Exam ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਹਜੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ IAS IPS ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ Speaker ਦਿਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ UPSC ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਾਏ। 2018 ਚ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ PCS Clear ਹੋਇਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ Tehsildar ਤੇ SDM ਆਏ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ 2019 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ UPSC ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਰੰਗ ਲੈਕੇ ਆਈ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ UPSC ਵੀ Clear ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ IPS Officer ਬਣੇ। ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਦਿਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੁਕਾਮ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

Exams like UPSC to become IAS IPS are not a topic of much discussion among the youth of Punjab but still, there are some youngsters who dreamed of becoming IAS, or IPS officers and made it come true.
The story of today's Speaker Dilpreet Singh is also similar, he made this decision during his college days and started preparing for his UPSC. In 2018, his PCS was cleared and he became Tehsildar and SDM, but then in 2019, his preparation for UPSC came to completion, and his UPSC cleared after which he became an IPS Officer.
