+Bergen Nicholson It's to make it so you cannot just drive around the entire track. If the checkpoints were not there, then you could just drive around the entire map to win. These checkpoints however makes it so that you have to drive through the track in order to finish.

+lyoko889 the track is raised linear and the checkpoint don't have a huge vertical hitbox they literally have no use on this course besides as a percent complete marker

gdesign95 In a non elevated race, this could mean a lot, but due to the track's elevated position, the checkpoints are kind of useless unless counted as a progress tracker. Edit 1: If you find a prop/elevated position near the track, I am sure that you would be able to jump inside the track again, and continue from there. Of course if you break your car on the ladning, that wouldn't be much of value either.

Come on Drae! As a previous skater you should have taken that half pipe with haste! Unless you were a street skater... But as a Vert skater that was easy.

Draegast Ahhhh that makes sense. I do some street, I can barley do a kickflip and my Ollies are horrid... But vert wise I'm pretty normal. Nice vid btw!

There is a lot more to it than that. It is very difficult at first, learning the balance and getting use to controlling more than just your own body only using your feet. I am a vert skater which means I skate in bowls and stuff. Drae is a street skater which means he does all the kickflips and shuvits on to grind bars and rails and boxes. Personally I still have troubles after multiple years skating, although an accomplishment I am proud of is dropping in on a 13ft oververt, instead of dropping in going straight down, the oververt actually scoops into the wall before coming out like a ramp.

Hey Drae, just so you know, if you hold ctrl you can click and drag individual nodes on the car, so you can do things such as flip it over if it's still working without resetting it. Or just throw it, that works too, lol. Hopefully that helps in future! Keep up the good work!

an important tip when draling with loops: go in hood camera, it is much more easier since it doesnt fuck up your perspective

You can hold left ctrl and click points on the car and drag it around to flip the car back over without resetting
