My implication with the joke is that clawing your way through the nine circles to get to purgatory and then going through purgatory to get to heaven is easier but longer method of the hell to heaven journey rather than trying to beat Ghosts n’ Goblins on Legend, which while sounds easier actually isn’t. Because everyone is bound to have played Dante’s Inferno by now.

It's a Nintendo switch game first, and then was later ported to the other consoles, and to PC. At no point was it ever an arcade game. It was only ever a home game. Lmao it's not that at all, it's a brand new game in the series. It's never existed as an arcade machine. @@tomhomunculus I played it and there is a pattern. Also you are supposed to kill the red demon first. You can damage him only when he is charging you. So you hit him once or twice then jump over him. That's all. Later levels is where the fun begins.
