The van has obviously got stuck long before the motorcyclist gets there, this has got nothing to do with a right of way dispute, the motorcyclist had to turn round and go back down from where they had just come.

I think as it was a refrigerated van he was probably delivering to the pub a few miles away but i think he has tried to take the quick way instead of going round, realised his van was going to ground out and tried turning round, i know that bend, it is well sketchy on a motorbike, never tried it in a car or van, the van would bottom out mid corner.
