Colin and Bo recap Sound & Fury festival 2023 in Los Angeles, CA.
Over 5,000 people gathered at Exposition Park for two days of the biggest hardcore festival to ever take place in California.
Featuring Cold World, Trapped Under Ice, Speed, High Vis, God's Hate and the return of HardLore's own Twitching Tongues.
It was an honor to have had a hand in several aspects of this historic weeks in California Hardcore history and we greatly appreciate the entire Sound & Fury team for having us and everyone in attendance for support our bands and our show. It's HardLore time!

What! That's madness. There's a clip circulating all over instagram right now of a whole ass family covering their ears whilst volcano played in SandF. Fuming mouth's out of the shadow's has the SOTN castlevania's gameover play at the end of the song. It's no surprise too that they use that! I watched them on the live show in manchester and Colin's number 1 soulsborne game is Bloodborne which is so fucking amazing haha.

It's one thing to see everyone's Sound and Fury posts, but getting the inside perspective is something most of us don't have access to aside from places like this. I’m kind of new to Hardcore, I’ve been a metalhead for a while and I started dipping my toes into Hardcore with bands like Nails and Gulch. Now I’m itching to go to a show, I love how much less safe it looks…the energy is unmatched. I’m planning to attend Sound and Fury next year

Kruelty played a small venue with Gates to Hell earlier this year in my home city in the UK earlier this year and holy shit. They were incredible, loved them, can't give them enough love

What bo is explaining at 1:54:00 is a knees over toes method. You can get the same knee strength benefits by sled pulling backwards or jogging backwards up a hill. Pushing backwards rather than forwards with our standard walking

What's great about Outbreak is their 'mosh waiver' where as soon you went past a certain point you had to have a wristband which is a great way of solving the cycle rack / barrier problem.

???? I was at that show and I don't remember that. I know for sure Fury, Forced Order, Violent Situation, and Soul Search played Programme in 2014 and that was Fury AND Forced Order's 1st or 2nd shows. I also think it was the first show (or at least HC show) that Programme ever did.

I first saw TUI and Ceremony at a show in an artist/theatre/diy performance space in Toronto in around ‘07-‘08. Flew all the way to S&F this year and maaaaaaaaaan did that shit bring me back. Oh the places the core will take us, I was telling my homie I was with “we went from scene kids to coremen” 😂. Awesome weekend, shouts to all the organizers. Met 2 coulda-been-wifeys at S&F before leaving early to catch my flight back home 😭. For a second I thought the barricade/bike rack was a work by Big Boy to get people to go off loll.

I’m regards to the dying wish pop, idk if a lot of people went this route but I went from metalcore to hardcore in terms of musical taste so when bands like dying wish come up I my initial reaction isn’t to hate on them. I grew up listening to that style so it just feels right

I was listening to metalcore before I found hardcore as well but it really does bum me out to see such good hardcore bands go that more accessible route (some might even say buttrock) I get it they need to make money and be exposed to more people but it is still a disappointment in my opinion.
