I just realized after my 4th watch that "without getting shot by the other" is a part of their definition of a Mexican standoff, yet every time they shoot someone no one finishes the standoff lmao

But the thing is, Streeter shot himself prior to the arrival of the Mexican, meaning it was now a regular standoff between two people, rather than a "Mexican standoff" consisting of three. So when he says "Wait; is this a regular standoff?", it is a regular to us as well, so the punchline is in fact invalid.

The punchline works if the guy was laughing AT them in the end for having a sissy regular standoff instead of a mexican one. But it seems by the acting that they just meant to make the joke that he's mexican so mexican standoffs are just regular to him.

I don't know if enough people realize how great this skit is,I mean,look how funny the last shot of Sam getting shot is! The camera is shaky but you can still see how "poorly" acted it was and then,with no easing,the outro comes up.

Dominic Gullotta Well collegehumor does a good deal of sketches related to political and social subjects. So even if this one in particular wasn't political, I don't feel that the comment was all that out of place. Maybe I should have tried to make it funny though.
