Did you get my message I sent you guys? I have a few questions here. One can you change the Wifi Pineapple ESSID to say maybe FreeWifi? Two can you setup the Pineapple (remotely) away from your own network, say maybe a friend that you have permission from connect it to his internet and then control it from your own network say maybe a few miles away (as well as see all the logs from it i.e. the SSL strip logs)? Three, can you use cookie cadger and ettercap on it? Four, my MacBook Pro 11,3 doesn't have a ethernet cable on it so how would I connect it to a network initially?

Interesting video. But what the heck is this device? I think it would be helpful to provide a little info on what the device is or used for before digging into tech specs.

senario: if i place the pineapple at my friends house, will i be able to access it on a loaction 15km away, or say 100km away? is it possible likewise log in to facebook? sorry for bad english

So the Pineapple has it's own Wifi that you can connect to? I think I understand everything else about the device except for that. Thanks guys. Sorry for my noobishness :(

Okay I am interested and understand a few things It does. Can anyone tell me where I can begin learing about this type of equiment. Do I also need Kali Linux? which I was using to learn hacking. Is this also for snoopying? I saw another video about at similiar device. Please Hak5 respond I am in serious need of guidance

Dropping Anvil I think it's a great idea to get a pineapple, wifi is much more widespread then LAN, if your target has readily available Ethernet cables though, go with the turtle.
