My grandpa died at age 62 to a heart attack. It was very unexpected and we lived too far away to be able to make it in time to see him before he passed. This song was played at his funeral and every single time I hear it, it takes me back to the memories I had with him when I was a little guy, and it makes me wish I had spent more time with than I did. It is super painful but I know he is absolutely giving heaven hell. Thank you Hardy, your a legend.

My mother passed away 2 months ago in November, lets just say id do anything just to talk to her again, every time I hear this song ill tear up, I just turned 21 and lets just say it was the roughest birthday I would have, id do anything just to talk to my mom one more time, the day before she was put in the ICU and lost the ability to walk, talk, or move, it was the day I'd hear her final words to me, and to think we'd never talk again after that absolutely kills me

This song hits close to home for me, my uncle, a die hard car guy, loved working on cars, it was in his blood. He retired from the national guard as a sergeant first class. He passed away last September, it’s a wound that will never truly heal, give heaven some hell, see you on the other side.

I had seen Hardy in concert with Jason Aldean @ Riverbend. I lost my Dad on my birthday 8/15/2004,and lost my Mom 6/19/2021. This song sure speaks for the both of my parents. Thank you Hardy for the make of this song. My uncle Brandon(BB) died in a motorcycle accident. Almost 2 years ago. He wasn’t just my uncle, he was a father to my two cousins who at the time were 12 and 9 and I can feel the pain til this day. He had hit a pothole on his motorcycle while racing my other Uncle and when he hit the pothole it sent him 20+ feet into the air. He landed in the ditch but hitting his head on the road. He suffered from two broken legs, two broken arms, 1 collapsed lung, 1 broken rib, half his face broke, brain dead, died in the ambulance for 10 mins but they brought him back, in a coma for 7 days before we had to take him off the ventilator and let him go. I couldn’t say my last goodbye before his time was done. The accident happened on 9/11/22 and he passed away 9/18/22. You will forever be missed and loved uncle B. I love you a lot. See you when I get there. Rest. In. Peace. ❤

One of my best friends from high school got killed on a 4 wheeler last July - hit a deer at 2 AM. After high school he went on a downward spiral, in and out of some hard drugs. He had finally came home and was living with his grandpa. Had the first job he'd had in 3 years running a dozer, doing what he loved, and was 3 weeks clean. Went to hang out with a buddy and 9 hours later the cops came to his grandpas house and told him he was dead. The lyrics to this song literally stole the words right out of my mouth.

my mom's still here, but this song will always remind me of her and bring tears to my eyes. My mom is a force of nature, a hurricane of a woman. She's fearless yet careful, has the grace of a swan yet the attitude of a Canadian goose. I'm so glad I got her firey side from her. My grandpa passed away 5 months ago at 73 years young. He was not only family, but my best friend. We did everything together. Hunting trips, fishing, and re-built his Trans-Am together. My dad was never around that much cause he travelled for work, so he was really my father figure growing up. The first time I heard this song on the radio after he passed, I had to pull over and I sat there for about 20 minutes crying like a garden hose. And he told me when we finished the Trans-Am that I better burn the tires of this sucker at every stop light. And every time I drive that thing, I can only imagine the smile on his face whenever I lay down 11s.

Word for word me and my brothers story. Lost the old man in 2012. Then one year later, I was 23 and he was 26, he was taken otw home from work, just never made it back to the farm that night… Family always ask why i ain’t the same as i used to be. Why i don’t smile like I used to or get close to anyone anymore. Why i have trouble thinking long term, and don’t have the drive I did back then. I find myself wishing i had an answer but i dont, id pay a great cost for a solution or how to get my old self back but I honestly just dont see much of anything the same anymore.

ok this song made my heart smile like omg if you think of your loved ones in heaven living life like that it takes the pain a little lighter on the heart iv lost so many friends my dad and mom just 2020 lost my son n law of 37 then not even a month latter my sister passed ... and if god didnt have enough my other sister passed all 3 with in about 2 months shocked hurt and life has sucked ... my poor daughter and grandkids omg was the most heart breaking ... so when i hurd this song my middle daughter who lost her dad when she was 13 she posted this song and i was like wow thats her dad for sure lol when you think of them like this songs it makes you smile my dads fishing right now .. i can see my mom finally happy to be back with my dad . my best friend drinking a beer fishing at citco lake but only heavens is like the most beautiful place ever .. i can see my parents farm on them acheres and our family is all there listing to old country music a beer and then we all fight6 lol like our family always did thanK you HARDY FOR MAKING THIS SONG AND GIVING ME A CHANCE TO PICTURE HEAVEN AND FAMILY AND FRIENDS GIVING HEAVEN SOME HELL... The 3 year anniversary of my mom's passing is coming up on the 22 of the month. She passed two days after my 19th birthday, I miss her so much, she had so much life left in her, if it wasn't for her kidney failure and the infection she had, she would still be here. First time I heard this song I cried so much cause it made me think of her. She was still fairly young, 50 years old. At her funeral, as I was giving my speech I said "I hope heaven is ready for a true blue down to the bone country girl", I feel her with me every day. Now whenever my birthday comes around I'm always depressed and I don't like celebrating it anymore cause knowing she passed two days after my birthday, it's a rough time. But I like to think that she got to meet her favorite singer, Elvis Presley in heaven, and I know she was happy to see her parents, my uncle and my twin.

On the 2nd will be the first anniversary of my friend Christina’s passing. It’s already been hard. Best person nicest person. Hell of a mother . I lost contact (life) n by time was able to reach out her mom had hmu and told me… still can’t belive it. Stumbled on this song 2 days ago. My brother passed away in January at 22, he was almost 23. He left his wife here on this earth and this was his favorite song. I love you little T. Give heaven some hell and peel your tires for us down here. We miss you dearly and when I get there to see you again, you better be at them golden gates waiting for me with a cold one. I love and miss you so much little T. I'll make sure your wife will be okay without you bubby #GHSH

Lost my dad Nov. 4 2021, and this song did it for me. I still can't listen to it without crying but god, does it give me happiness/hopefulness/sadness all in one. Most touching song. Describes my dads heaven perfectly.
