First of all, this is a Fun Video!
Like I did in two of my other Videos I'm trying to get a Tone related to the Artist in only 90seconds.
In The 1st Part I tried how close I can come to a general "Mayerish" Tone using their Two Rock Sim with a Spring Reverb, a TS Style Pedal and a Delay. In the 2nd Part I tried to create a "Slash-like" Sound using their JCM 900 Sim with Reverb & Delay.
In the 3rd Part i was dialing in an EVH Tone with the Plexi100 Amp Sim, a Plate Reverb, Tape Delay and a Phaser ;)

I don't know if you're still doing videos, the last uploaded one I see on your channel was a year ago. But I'm thinking of buying a HB DNAfx, and I'm curious what kind of Gilmore sounds I could get out of it. My favorite albums from Floyd are The Wall and Dark side of the Moon. So if you could show me any tones and effects the DNA can produce to get David's sounds from those two albums would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps do a video called "can the DNAfx Gilmore?" P.s. I'm eventually going to get a keeley Dark side pedal, but it's 300$, so for now I'm just getting the DNAfx (since it's only 130$), and I'm just curious what Gilmore sounds I can get with it.

Great half stack under $300. Recipe... I bought (stole?) a dnafx on craigslist. $75 NIB. Ordered 100 watt Harley Benton GSP from thomann. About $100 after shipping. $20 German-to-US step-up wattage converter off Amazon. Also bought (stole) a 4x12 celestion cab off craigslist, $100 = Powerhouse giggable half stack. $295

Wow, very impressive. I was looking for a slash style tone when I found your video, didn't expect that the exact tone will appear hear. It is perfect. I have also a Harley Benton Les Paul, it sounds perfectly on it. Keep doing it, you got my sub! ;)

Für den Preis ist dat Ding Spitze!! Absolut tolle SW!🤘👍🏼 Homebound. Nie live benutzen, bis man damit sicher umgehen kann! Klingt ein wenig harsch, wie Eisschnee! Es fehlt die Röhren Wärme!

When I use the exact same settings, my guitars have a rather dull sound, compared to the really sharp sound here in the video. I wonder why this is. I don't think it's my equipment: For the Slash settings I use a Gibson Les Paul and for the Van Halen sound I use my Kramer Strat with active EMG pickups. Is it possible that the CAB settings differ?

@@MartinFrydas das ist schon eine echte Kunst, den Sound so sehr am Original zu basteln. Und das mit Harley Benton?! Ich würde sonst was drum geben, so ein Talent für Sounddesign zu haben und so gut spielen zu können👍

Vielen Dank! Harley Benton davon heute sind nicht mehr mit von vor ein paar Jahren vergleichbar! Unfassbar was da heute für gute Gitarren für das Geld produziert werden!!!

Thanks for the video, pretty cool!! one question...it seems there are a "noise ground" when you are not playing it can be ear and it is high than the gain butom is in high levels min. 4:56. it is anoying,

Hello, thanks for this video and I have a question, I would like to know if the iron buttons on this processor work as switches for switching between presets, or are they only used to turn on the tuner and looper?

Today I get this machine and try to connect it with my Laptop. But when I start the download-software, it always says:"Equipment version is to low, please update the firmware". Maybe you have an idea how I can fix this? My favorite tone is EVH ;)

If you're doing an Eddie tone surely you would have been better off using the EVH amp model.. 🙄

Cool video,sounds pretty good as well on getting close to their sound!!! Real close actually....lol I was thinking about purchasing one of these pedals,how is the looper function ???? If i see a decent video on that, i'll probably pull the trigger on it !!!

Hey Martin, how did you record these sounds? Can I get the same results just with the signal chain: guitar -> DNAfx -> USB-Interface (MOTU M2) -> DAW (Reaper)?

How did you download the carol clean amp? I have the software and everything I just can't fins how to download amps to it

It has another name - I can’t remember - but you can find it in the manual which is modeled after the coral clean 😁🤘
