Muchas felicidades por el vídeo una vez más. El problema principal que le veo es que si a un instrumento que ya te piden 240€ +-, y si luego hay que llevarlo al Luthier a cambiar pastillas, cableado, potes y apantallado; ahí tenemos, por lo menos otros 300€. Y por este montante total nos iríamos a más de 500€. Y por ese precio hay bajos mucho mejores en todo en general. Pero bueno; cada uno....

Sí, ya si uno se atreve a meterse en soldaduras, por 30 o 40€ ya se podría mejorar bastante. Pero sí, sí lo tiene que hacer un luthier la cosa empieza a cambiar.

Me ha llegado hoy el bajo, para zurdos. Simplemente puedo decir una cosa: ESPECTACULAR. Ha venido ajustado de lujo, suena como una jodida bestia, se siente comodísimo y te da una sensanción de bajo premium salvo por la disparidad en la dureza de los afinadores, pero no hay ninguno muy blando. A este bajo le pondré un puente de alta masa, botones metálico y pote de tono más progresivo, y ya en el futuro clavijas, y me quedará un bajazo. Fíjate que estoy pensando hasta en pillarme la versión de cuatro cuerdas porque la solo p ya la cogí.

Muchas Gracias por el review del PJ 5 cuerdas!!! En el formato con solo pastilla P seria para mi una gran opción..ya que esta suena increíblemente bien por el precio...Las pastillas J, sobre todo la del puente me parece mejor que la Roswell, pero aún así, quita mas que da..Si le cambias algo, estaria encantado de volver a escucharlo... saludos!!

Finalmente tenía un Warwick en el punto de mira (ya está en casa) y necesitaba devolverlo. Pero no descarto volver a hacerme con algún bajo más de la serie.

In most of HB's it is like that. In that regard maybe the MB4 and the PB50 are the most solid (although they need shielding).

Los ruidos de masa son por el no apantallamiento de la caja de circuito. Lo veo bastante bonito pero para mi gusto con 21 trastes sería ideal.

Así es. Finalmente se fue de vuelta, pero por una cuestión puramente gaseosa porque voy detrás de un Warwick que me tienen reservado. Pero hubiera estado bien poder hacer un segundo vídeo con mejoras.

Regarding the noise - shouldn't be any when using the P pickup right? My first bass was Squier VM Short Scale Jaguar. The bridge pickup would receive hearing loop - putting an Ironstone pickup was enough to stop this. I just use an EMG set now. Quiet and allows one to use FX to create almost any tone

Yes, it's rather Daphne blue or almost baby blue. Yesterday it went back to Thomann, but mainly because I have a Warwick on hold and I need funds. The P alone was better but still, in my old flat, gave me trouble. The only bass is silent at home is my custom KD basses, which is perfectly shielded.

Muchos gracias! Love the video. Still deciding. Is the string spacing really 20mm? That is quite wide for a 5 string. But i think i will like it. :)

If my sight and my tools don't fool me, it is 19mm, as I suspected. It makes no sense having a wider string spacing than the PJ4. If you decide on one of these, I'd ask you to use my Thomann link. Mine is back for gas reasons but this neck is soooo sweet. You can't pass it unless you like skinny necks. This one might be the best I've played. Seriously.

Thanks for responding.👍🏻 It infused my 'i need another bass itch" 😂 when decided i will give your link a try. i have ibanez' with ultra fine necks (love them) but also a few HBs. Imho these feel like real workhorses, and that what you sometimes want to feel. Tnx again!

Hola. No, sólo el 74 y 75. A priori deberían ser esencialmente lo mismo. Bastante recomendables, pero por lo que ofrecen estos bajos MV, creo que merece la pena el pellizquito extra que cuestan.

With the E to C tuning I found some strings cut too short and I had to use different tuners in two strings.

@@BassAdvisor Thanks for your reply. I understood from your video also that your tuning is E A D G C. Have you also setup the Bass as you like ? Does the Bass comes with a decent setup ? I asking these questions because I want to order the Bass it seems to be a soiled intrument.

@@MuhammadAli-vp7qt The bass came very well set up. I only played E-C tuning in the very first sound clip. After that is the regular B to G tuning. It allows a very good setup. The only drawback is the lack of shielding. It's a great modding platform if you want to put some high end pickups. If you decide on it, I'd appreciate a lot if you use my link!

Llevar un Panamera no te brinda ningún tipo de autoridad para menospreciar al Swift que hay al lado, que tiene no pocas virtudes pese a costar 8 o 10 veces menos. Te invitaría a tener una unidad como la del vídeo en las manos y a que le buscases un sólo defecto o un sólo aspecto que sea inferior a cualquier Fender. Otra tema es la electrónica y otro más las condiciones laborales comparadas con las de occidente. También podría criticar qué ofrece Fodera más allá de hacerte sentir que perteneces a una suerte de club selecto. Esto es extensible a casi todo producto con un valor añadido y su sobre coste asociado. He probado varios Fodera y por supuesto que son la leche y he fantaseado muchas veces con tener uno. ¿Quién no? Pero de tener uno no me haría dejar de valorar lo bestialmente buenos que son estos bajos de 250€ comparado con los bajos equivalentes de hace 25 años. Y lo mismo digo de los Squier Sonic, que les parte la cara a cualquier Squier Classic Vibe o Fender México en cuanto a construcción. La magia del CNC, supongo. P.D. Evidentemente no me pagan un duro más allá de los eurillos que me saco con el enlace patrocinado.
