I remember these on the showroom floor. I thought they were a sharp looking bike. Old school and beautiful. Really captures the Harley heritage well.

Hey I have a 2013 xl1200v as well!

I own a 2012 72 as well as a softail. 2 completely different rides. I love both bikes. My stock pipes were very quiet. I changed them out for super Trapp mean mothers and they are loud also. In the 12 years I owned the bike I got a warning ticket for loud exhaust and that was several years ago. I'm a very mild rider and I average about 46 mpg give or take a mile or 2. Never had the bike over 60 or so. One of the first thing I changed was the seat. Give it some gas and you would almost slide off plus it was very uncomfortable. It's a great 2nd bike and as you said you get alot of compliments.
