I am also owner of 2012 model and have same feelings of owning a dream bike.....the issues you mentioned are same which I experienced.....like the underside touches a hump and it scratches your heart.....the maintenance cost is very high if you buy genuine parts and service from Harley Davidson service center....I recently changed battery - 10k, rear shocks - 22k for pair, rear tyre from Michelin - 29k.....but you have to bear it as you are literally driving a sedan engine on a two wheeler......keep posting the experience bro.....and ride safe......

The cost seems justified to me. I know people that put Amaron battery in thier HD and completely ruined the bike.

You forget to mention heating issue, braking issue. Even clutch plate costs more than 35K.

Clutch plate abhi face nahin kiya, and haan I forgot heating issue. us waqt jaade chal rahe the to isiliye yaad n raha. And accidentally I deleted your other comment. Can you please write again what you mentioned?

Overall ਮੈਂ harley ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਵਾਲ਼ੀ machine ਮੰਨਦਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ bike ਪ੍ਰਕਟੀਕਲ ਨਹੀਂ india ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੀ harley ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਤਮੰਨਾ ਪਰ 883 cc is enough for bike my thinking 😊

Harley Tax alag hai, accessories are very expensive. Maintenance cost cover karne keliye SIP alag sa chahiye.
