Bought a used Harley Switchback that still had factory exhaust. Have found it to be dangerously quiet. Still riding season so needed to make it a bit louder quick and cheap.

Sounded good with just the downpipe and cat!

As it turns out my bike is still catted and it came with a se nightstick with a dozen plates bolted on the end.....I also have the stock exhaust, I think your way is by far the best way......but I may try and drill from the engine side and not from the exhaust side......the sound at the end is just what you want imho.

Ok so I guess I'll be the first, for the cost of the drill bit and a few extra bucks you could buy a slip on and be done with it.....but props for the video and ingenuity

shiza237 222 Haha 100%. Especially on a single. Vance and Hines were over $300 for just the single and I was bored. It worked but for sure a slip is the way to go if you’ve got the $

@@ml414skidoo I'm getting a 2012 myself, it has a slip on for sure, what I'm not sure of is if the cat is intact. And whether the ecm is mapped or not........only has 3200 miles on her ......not looking a gift horse in the mouth but something must be amiss, but I'll tke a chance, what the hell, lol
