this came out incredible!! I too made my dress before I saw the movie and didn't realize it actually sparkled just from the trailer shots so I sewed it with just plain tulle, the red glitter glue is genius to fix that!

Alyson you always aim for the target and hit the bullseye with every cosplay. I hope that doesn't sound weird? The Dress looks beautiful and you look just like Harley, I just watched your Birds of Prey videos for a bit of Halloween fun. You are a mistress of disguise and one of my favorite cosplayers, keep up the fantabulous work and have a spooky and fun Halloween. :)

I have been struggling with the mesh fabric and how to place it, as well with the base of this dress. This really helps! That’s so much! I now have motivation to work on this dress again 😁

How do you know the black dark wash paint will not completely ruin the colour? Do you test first or have done previously?

I do this all the time, so I'm really use to it! But I would definitely recommend testing it in scrap fabric first!

@@AlysonTabbitha I guess it was to show how Harely is kick-ass no matter what she wears. They could have had her find the original outfit and change while escaping but I think it flowed better with her making do with the dress. Still though there was a point where all the others changed from their civilian clothes into their original outfits for the final fight, they could have maybe done the same but then there’s the question of how she got it back.
