I am going to keep this short today (if I can). When I found you had an other one of these videos up, I quickly made myself a cup of black coffee, no one around to interrupt me (so I can absorb it all in). It is morning here and watching you create is such a beautiful way to start the day. Your blooms are so up lifting, romantic, stunning and I really love the dried results because you can see the texture in your creations. For me to look at an art piece is just not enough, the tactile experience and connecting with it, is such an awesome thing. Thank you for sharing and doing what you do, it is therapy for my soul. The last piece in this video is PERFECT for Fall!! And I must say, this is the first time I've seen someone use cell activator in a Dutch Pour-like blowout...and not just a bloom!! I rather like it!! 💜😍💜 I hope you will do more!!!!😊💜

Thanks so much, Milly! I usually mix the satin enamel as 1 part paint, 1 part GAC 800, 1 part Liquitex pm, then start adding water until it's super thin. ❤️🙏❤️

OK love them all (including the centre in the third one) and I’d love to try but I just refuse to buy more paint until I can perfect what you’ve tried so hard to teach me. I understand! Wait until you've conquered the regular blooms before adding satin enamel to the mix. You're not a bad student and we are all creative! @Pam Cole Chadwell I know it can be very confusing because we all use different ingredients to achieve the same thing! lol! You could start small, like on coasters or small canvases and experiment until you get something you like...then you'll know what to buy in larger amounts! ❤️👍😍

Oh my goodness, absolutely stunning work! I just subscribed to your channel so I’m unsure yet where you’re located. But if in the US, then in my opinion, the USA takes the gold! The other top countries in the running are the Netherlands, Canada and Ireland. I do not drop names, and this is purely based on my own artistic preferences. I think I found my favorite fluid artist.

Oh yay! I've been doing "blooms" with my leftover satin enamel paints too, but it's the original recipe, not with the bloom recipe. They've actually been turning out pretty close to actual blooms! It's awesome to see you do it, though. Always gorgeous work!😍😍😍

@@barriereynolds6447 Mine or Lisa's? To be honest, I had just been messing around with old paint blends that were the classic mix of 2 parts floetrol to 1 part paint plus a squirt of liquitex pouring medium. I just added some 3x polyurethane and some base c to make them around a 3 or 4 in consistency. That's a lot thicker than the traditional bloom consistency, but I found that helped them keep their shape. I'm sorry I can't give you a better recipe at the moment, but once I get moved, I am going to start making some videos. Let me know if you have any more questions. I would be happy to help you on your journey! ☺🤗

@@barriereynolds6447 Oh yes! The base is the classic satin enamel recipe, just with less water in it. About a 2 1/2 in consistency. No house paint! I wanted to be able to torch it.

You are Magic with that blow dryer & paint .. wow Can I ask what setting your dryer is on? I always have a hit & miss with my blooms… have been at it for about 8-9 months and still Very much in the learning stage You and Artists Like you that share on KZfaq are Such an Inspiration!! TY ❤️

Thanks so much, Tina for your kind words!!! My hair dryer is a small, travel size and does not have a cool option- only low or high heat. Typically, I use it on low heat so I have a little more control! ❤️🙏❤️

When you mix your satin enamels do you add Floetrol?

I think the second video answers my question on wet or dry base. The satin kinda reacts like water colour, semi blending. I like it too. Well I love. 💕. PS I take it the satin enamel has a pouring medium in it????

You're exactly right, Pauline! The thin satin enamel acts like watercolor bleeding out at the edges. I make the pm very thin for satin enamel using roughly equal parts GAC 800, Liquitex Pouring Medium, Floetrol and water.

Lisa is this just normal satin enamel house paint and did you paint the base in it and allow to dry or was it still wet before doing the pour? This is really beautiful, colours are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a great Christmas. 💕

Hey Pauline, I use DecoArt Satin Enamel but I guess house paint satin enamel might work too if you thin it out a little?
