Part 2: axle/shoulder lengths plus bearing type. Watch the video, look at the wheels, make your own decisions. Nobody including Haro gave us a close look at these before we could buy them so here you go.

Got a set on preorder right now. I was told at least 12 weeks out. Just wondering how they're holding up after all this time. And yes. They will be ridden on. No carpet queen here

You should have a video of how you remove the axles from Haro lineage sealed 48's hubs, especially the front ones because I have 1 slotted sealed axle for mine front hub... I would appreciate very much if you could respond

I have a midschool Haro 2010 the back wheel seized up so I took the axle out and bearings fell everywhere. Inside all chewed up. How do I figure out what bearings to order and where is a good place to get these vintage parts? Thanks a lot bro!

I have a 94’ Haro and I’m trying to find wheels for them. Idk where to start, but I know that the rear axle is 3/8. How do I convert these 14mm to 3/8 to fit?
@MorbidThrasher666

Would you happen to have the 13t cassette driver for sale for the rear 14mm axle lineage 48? I just bought a set and im stucking using 9t rear,i have a 36t sprocket up front but need 13t for rear but its sold out ATM.

I hadto use a Odyssey conversion axle 3)8 for my 92 Haro. The hub also let's run upto a 12 one peice or even upto an 18 casette.

Does this rim need a special tire? Do you know the width?

@@jerrycollins5048 no but could run down to a 175 . Those are 2.1 and on the fat side for one of these bikes

Was talking about my rims wrong post . But I'd say 2.0 would be narrowest for those lineage rims if you were grinding maybe 175 will work fine . Youl havto try it yourself.only way.

I’ll have to look into that conversion axle. I’m not familiar with it so I’m gonna go do my research. Thanks for the heads up!

That Waltz is my kind of flavor. I'd swap the handlebar for the GT Show's 4 piece though☝️🙂!

Man I built that bike not really knowing anything about what I wanted and ended up with a bike that I never ride. It’s an awesome bike but the frame is all new school flatland. The wheel base is so short that you can really tell it’s for easy lifting to do the tight rolling tricks. I think it has an 18.5” top tube and either a 12 or 13” chain stay. You ever had someone say “oh man why you wanna ride that 20” kids bike?” Well When I ride that I kind of feel like I am. Totally sweet ass bike for that style, but I’m not on that level. But talking about those 4 piece Show bars... I’d like to put those on that Air. Good rise, back sweep and width. And I dig that kneesaver style.
@rgw1380rw
@rgw1380rw 6 жыл бұрын
@@northeastmotorco The kneesaver styled 4 piece handlebar is exactly what I'm going to be ordering. In my opinion, that top tube length is the only thing that spoiled that Waltz frame. I'm 6' tall, so I need a comfy amount knee space. I've always preferred BMX over MTB, so I've gotten the questions about me having a kid bike too. The last Dyno combined with the kneck and lay back seat stem that I had was pretty roomy for me, but I can't remember the exact TT length. I always prefer my bars to be at the 12:00 position, or slightly tilted back towards me because it makes the bike look a bit better to me. The color combo and general design of the bike tell me what angle to place my bars at. The GT Show, or the Bayou Bar have the look that can't be ignored. Those old school hour glass shaped bars were also the most mind blowing design on Earth when I was a kid⏳🙆‍♂️!

Do you HAVE to run Haro HPF tires on these rims like the sticker says or can you run other tires?
@northeastmotorco
@northeastmotorco 5 жыл бұрын
No sir, you can run any tire. They did it in tribute because the old Peregrines Super Pro 48s had the “use with Peregrine HP40-406 tires only” sticker back in the day.

Man I’m sorry but I don’t. I still have 2 new pair but I’m holding on to them for future projects. Flatland fuel has the 9t cassette 48h wheel set but no 3/8. I have a feeling that nothing is available because of the craziness right now. I’ve been waiting on some guitar parts to be shipped and I paid for them months ago.

how are these wheels so far?
@northeastmotorco
@northeastmotorco 6 жыл бұрын
They’re holding up really well so far. Did have to do a little tightening of the spokes to bring the hoops back to center but I think that they just didn’t properly set the wheels up in Taiwan. I would say that these wheels are a damn good buy. Hubs, hoops, spokes and nipples are all good quality. No issues with the pinned joint either. If you get a set, get them setup before you ride on em or at least go over them with a spoke wrench. There were some fairly loose ones. Same thing with my Sata wheels on the dmc.
