The harpies are so beautiful and fierce, by far of my favorite cards, even to this day. Also, they're very emotive and expressive for holograms. Guess Mai has the heart of the cards in her as well.

The Tess-Shocker her duelist kingdom duel against Yami was her best by far I just wish they gave her a chance at redemption and winning for a change than always losing the main characters came off as pompous when they said she only battles for herself that’s what drove her to the Orichalcos practically

though im a Male i do love these cards (not in the "you know what" way but of course i could not call them ugly either.) not sure what i like most: their elegance,their war cry,the feathers that fall like snowflakes,their tricky fighting style,perhaps even Harpies Myth and the fact that im Greek? if i where a female i believe i would be more keen to have them as my favorite monsters.

Swords of Revealing Light prevents your opponent from attacking with their monsters, not summoning them. Had Mai summoned her fourth Harpie, Pet Dragon would have easily overpowered Black Luster Soldier. But yeah, plot armor. 😂

How did her harpie lady get 2100 attack points? Cyber shield made it go from 1300 to 1800. Then rose whip brought it from 2100 to 2400. Where did 2100 come from? I'm not complaining I'm just confused.

She got 300pt from Wings But what I don't understand why She didn't attack one by one with Harpy sisters not 3 all at ones. She could beat him. She would 2 dirrect attack, total 4800points.

CroVolley wings? Nope. Despite the anime displaying the monsters as 3 separate monsters they were actually just ONE, ATK 1950 DEF 2100, so she couldn’t attack with each one individually and in Duelist Kingdom there was no “attacking life points directly”.

The cards which confused me is this mirror wall and Graverobber, on the card in internet I read the player need to pay 2000 life points to used Graverobber and and for This wall to be keep it up is need to pay with 2000 life points, but in anime this is not happened as I read the text of these both cards 🤔ᴴᴹᴹ

Yugioh was watched mostly by young boys and besides the knight, the magician, the buff demon and the dragons, the harpies gave us a feeling of empowerement cause they were clearly different from the beefy ripped monsters. It just gave us something to aspire, even if it was only visually
