Este vals se llama LA PARTIDA, música y letra del venezolano Carlos Bonnet que nació en 1892. En este Link podrán ver que Jesús Sevillano grabó la canción en formato vinilo en 1969. Nicolas is a talented yet down to earth human being. I was lucky to be at his last concert before him moving for a while to Paraguay. I wish you the best Nicolas and as always, thanks for signing your CDs and having our pictures taken with you. Jorge

I love your music, gentlemen! It is beautiful & heartfelt. I'm getting my first harp, this Summer. (I'm 62!) I've always loved Spanish rythyms & guitar. The Paraguayans have added such a joyous feel. I'm definitely getting an album.

The name of this song is "Quiero ser tu Sombra" it's a Venezuelan waltz. There is another song called "La Partida" by Victor Jara, but it's a different song from Chile.

Mario Ahumada En Ecuador se le conoce como vals Pica Pica, en Perú y Argentina se le Conoce como "Quiero Ser Tu Sombra" porque se hizo famosa por un recopilador de música llamado Hector Quattromano, pero en realidad originalmente se llama "La Partida" Vals Venezolano de Carlos Bonnet.
