US Marines with Marine Attack Training Squadron (VMAT) 203 and their AV/8B Harrier IIs participated in exercise Broken Resolutions at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, back in January, 2021.
Marines with VMAT-203 trained with ordnance in an unfamiliar environment in order to increase proficiency in critical mission skills such as low altitude tactics, complex maneuvers, and close air support.
VMAT-203 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, which is the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
The video starts with an interview with the Commanding Officer of VMAT-203, Lt Colonel Daniel Fiust. It then follows Harriers being loaded with practice weapons followed by footage of the aircraft flying low-level while conducting their bombing sortie.
Thank you for watching.

The fact that TAV-8B harriers can carry weapons reminds me of the harrier scene from metal gear solid 2

That's my old MAG - MAG-32. It was (then): VMAT-203 (on this video), and VMAs (attack sqdns) 223, 231, 331, and 542. In my duties we did maintenance and repair of all the associated Harrier support gear - from the bomb loaders (SATS loaders), the Water Demineralizers (demin. water to cool the engine during hover), the Mobile Electrical Power Plant Generators (for electrical service w/o starting up the engine; and my primary MOS), Cobra Cranes (to lift the one-piece composite wing for major engine servicing), Tow Trucks and towbars, C-17 Coolers (mobile air conditioning units), Jennys (Harrier hydraulics system servicing), Huffers (ie: small gas-turbine engines used to remote-start Harrier engines), and other associated gears like jacks, jackstands, and maintenance platforms - basically, anything used to PM, service, and repair the Harrier. It was constant work, looong hours, and sometimes extra-grueling work - but it was very rewarding seeing that you had a hand in making the MAGTF be fully mission capable. I'll never forget my time with the MAG, the Support Division, the air and maintenance crews, the Marine Aviators, and with the Harriers themselves. You can still see them fly at MCAS Cherry Point. Most of the American Marine Corps AV/8B Harrier aircraft have been retired. A couple of squadrons still remain in service though.

Currently the AV/8B Harrier II will remain in USMC service until around 2028, although this time-frame is 'fluid'. We think there are about 60 aircraft still in service.

Two-seat Harrier aircraft are able to carry the same weapons, in most cases, as the single-seat variant. This is to advance the training of new pilots.
