Hi Julian. Your review of the Bass Flow really is very informative and helpful. Thanks for that. There are many plugin reviews on KZfaq but most of them are useless rubbish because on most of them artifical sounds/samples/loops are used. Here you are using a Jazz Bass. Great. Keep music human.

Harrison do have great plugins but I believe they also should some up with some start-up presets on these channels strips. Why, simply because sometimes at first plugin like this can look overwhelming. Just thoughts and a nice way to have first users to just hear what the plugin can offer or do quicker. Kudos for this video

Hey, stumbled on this video... Is that you Warren? I assumed the reason that chorus was included in this plugin is because it can be used subtly to SMOOTH out a weird bass track where compression didn't help. I forget where I learned that trick. But it's def a thing people do and not an entirely 80's goth thing! I rarely go there too... but there's a method to the madness.

Great plugin… But I still prefer to use the same chain constructed from single Harrison processors, most of which I already own. Track/bus templates rock.

This plugin suite obviously isn't for you if you have all the individual processors, so why even comment?

Airwindows ToTape plugins will have you covered. I was really surprised by how versatile they are, you can even use ToTape 6 as a last stage in mastering chain, using it as maximizer/limiter with ease when the levels are set up right.

@@alexeypolevoybass i'm using all airwindows stuff, specially new tape9, it's amazing on drums - how can it tame them, and how glued it gets after process!

@@senseiprod thanks for a tip, will definitely try that out on my band's two upcoming records.

@@alexeypolevoybass it's not tape9, sorry it's console9, got it mixed up.. tho the 'tape' does the work as well :) point is awesome transient shaper, 'pop' for a buss.. there are many.. derez2 is great decimator, monitoring for level check (for bass, slew, mono, crossfeed- which is great for headphones).. there are simply too many :P since we are about tapes - toneboosters reelbus4 is amasing one as well.. or distortion module in TDR Limiter :p

well, that bass sounds absolutely horrendous. I know is not the plugin's fault.

Harrison spams me over and over again with their far overpriced plugins! I just don't want to miss a Mixbus 32c update, otherwise i unsubscribed inmediately! You don't need AVA or Harrison plugins, period.

Overpriced? Really? Compare that to Waves or iZotope. You don't need Harrison plugins? Well, maybe you don't, but I love to use them, they don't fuck with my sources unless I explicitly tell them to do so. They work great (only Vocal/Bass Character had that latency compensation issue, but it seems to be fixed with new Mixbus release), they sound great, they have very little impact on CPU and bank account (not the AVA series, but the “regular” ones, which are in LV2 format), and they are not too fiddly to operate. I also love using Airwindows for pretty much the same reasons.
