@@shizukagozen777You're absolutely right, he is, that's the difference between movie stars and actors. Movie stars just play versions of themselves, but we love them for it!
@shizukagozen7778 ай бұрын
@@jamesthecat Sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one: even though I love RDJ, Tony Stark and SW too but I don't like Han Solo at all and that's very probably because Han Solo = Ford. Actually, the very few actors/movie stars who play as themselves instead of their roles are the over the top arrogant and self righteous actors and/or they don't care that much anymore too. Fortunately, very few actors are actually like that, most of the ones who keep appearing in movies even after a very long career are still conscientious about their job, you'll never see Tom Cruise, DiCaprio or Keanu Reeves doing what Ford does, for example.
@jamesthecat8 ай бұрын
@@shizukagozen777 Well, I was agreeing with you, but I think you're overgeneralizing from your dislike of Ford here. Actors who 'play themselves' (I actually said *versions* ie they're limited) don't have to be arrogant, that doesn’t follow at all, they're just limited, I would call them 'Movie Stars' and would absolutely put Tom Cruise in that bracket (DiCaprio is more of an actor, to be fair), and the classic example of this was Sean Connery, who famously didn't even change his accent when he had to play a Russian. That is however what movie goers expected, because they just wanted to see a Sean Connery flick. My point is that movie stars don't generally have the range to become a completely different person, as a great actor can, even if they're physically different, and one of the best examples of that was Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote, in my opinion.

“…dumb questions…”? 🤔 Name another male, 80-year old, A-List actor who has “still got it”, who has his fans drooling. “How do you do it?!”, is absolutely a question in the minds of many, many Harrison Ford fans. The female journalist asking the question was merely a messenger.

You're so goddamn unoriginal, there's this same comment from a week earlier right above yours. Also, no one needs to imagine it, people have been calling Helen Mirren sexy forever. To her face, at awards ceremonies, etc. You crybabies are creating the very world you purport to be upset about. Where everyone gets offended and no one can just say things without a jury trial being convened.
@seaofflowers.4 ай бұрын
Imagine it why? There's tons of videos of that. Ok. Now it's been imagined. Then what? Unfortunately, double standards are human nature, and they're not gonna disappear because people ask them to imagine double standards being uno reversed.
If a guy said that to a women... There'd be all hell to pay!

Perfectly good question, asked in a light hearted manner and given a similarly fun reply. It's hardly an "inappropriate" question as headlined and Harrison's response says it all.
@lyetaherb47034 ай бұрын
In his age group. Its very inappropriate. A younger dared not ask an elder such a question and make such a remark. So I believe he had to had to take in that comment and process it with a positvely funny come back.😂😂😂 They both did A Great job doing their jobs‼️😉

If you reversed the roles, would you feel the same way? Younger guy telling an old actress how she "still looks hot, especially when she took off her shirt in the 2nd scene." And how do you even answer that 'question'? "Gee thanks!" That being said, I don't think it's a big deal at all and I think the chick asking the question probably was just fangirling.
