Hi so the 600 group still sell the Colchester and the Harrison brand manual lathes but it hard to know which is better . I’m on the market for s new one , I have an old 70’s colchester 15” but would like to know if there is much difference , tried asking ‘clausing’ but they just say they are similar ..... I really want the tech stuff , the gear change was different on the colchester for years but now it’s similar to the Harrison, knobs I steady of the dial...... I’d love to hear what you have to say Cheers Warren ( in USA)

I use this model lathe (or very very similar) at my place of work, but it is so beat up I wish it were in the same condition as this. Would make my life so much easier.
