Construction of Harrow Civic Centre was undertaken by F. G. Minter & began on 2 July 1970.

Great film-tragic too, as Harrow is a bit of a dump now. Nobody listened to these warnings. Only some sections on the hill, by the school, remain as they were. What year was this made?

I was involved in the making of this film, If my memory serves me right, I think that we started filming in 1970. Unfortunately a lot of the original picture quality seems to have been lost in the transfer.

This is wonderful, do you know what year it was made?

I'm guessing it was 1971, Rob. I based this on the construction stage of Harrow Civic Centre, and the cars....lovely metallic blue Ford Capri at one point in the Pinner Section!!

A lovely insightful video. Unfortunately smothered in to oblivion is just part of the process of modern society.
