The Harrows Atlantis in its original guise was Harrows first dart of 95% tungsten the new 50th Anniversary edition has a nice gold ti coating but still has that classic knurled ring style. I have the original version of this darts. I was right now blown away! I sent harrows a email asking about this, but was stop making in mid 90’s if i remember . Fantastic dart

Thanks mate, yeah I think it was a good idea to re-release some classics updated, not everyone likes gold darts but I think they often look great :)

Yeah I think some weights have sold out already on a few of them, great little range update for Harrows, just think in another 50 years they will be updating the Predators in GREEN! I will be 103 then though lol! :)

I had the original Eric Bristow darts lasted me for 30 years when I moved house I lost them. They kept their balance till the end.

Great review as always, these look really smart. The only issue for me is that the smooth section is in an area that I would grip the dart, thankfully your review points that out.

@DartsReviewChannel yes. All black with silver accents by the look of it. Have 'legend' etched around the base of the stem. They look really nice, and not bad price wise. Look forward to seeing you review them when you get to them buddy.

I've been looking into buying these darts since they came out Darren but I was wondering if you have any insight for me after having a throw with them yourself. I've noticed lately that alot of darts between 48-51mm seem too all react very differently when you add longer points too them. For example if I add longer points to 2 darts that are both 50mm, same weight, same centre of gravity and same flight and shaft set up one will end up landing alot more upright and the other flatter even though they're virtually identical on paper. If I was too add say a 36-38mm point too these darts do you get the feeling it would make this particular set land flatter or more upright as I'd be personally looking for them too land more upright. An example I have is the loxley saiyan darts and mission kuro both 22g I think the kuro is 1mm longer I added 36mm points too both and the saiyan landed beautifully upright and the kuro the exact opposite just flat. I was wondering after having a throw yourself what your impression would be of the way they would land with a longer point before I go ahead and purchased them. I know from your video here the standard points land pretty upright but I just prefer having a 36-38mm point in my darts. Many thanks if you can provide any insight 😁

Hmm, could also depend the way you throw them. In theory I would think if there is more weight at the front with a longer point then it should land more tail up, but only if you are throwing in a kind of arc/looping style. If you throw flat then its more likely to land flatter. But thats just theory. In practice the length of points may affect the overall balance just enough to make the darts stablizers (the stem and flight) behave differently. But I think in the end it will still depend a lot on how the set up works with your throw. Ultimately it will just end up being trial and error to see what works the way you want. Most of the time the setup of stems and flights only changes the overall balance a small amount. Thats mainly because there is not a huge difference in weight. As a stem gets longer it gets thinner, so the weight is not a huge amount but the longer length has more affect through the air.

Thanks for the detailed reply Darren, I've bought the darts so will have a play about with some different set ups. I think you're onto something with the throw. I throw my darts very hard so with a longer point i think its making most land flatter. Might try adjust my throw slowly but surely as i think i am throwing way too hard 😂

The Orginals are still used to this day by Tricole the french darts player the have 95% stamped on the band
